The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine and all utensils needed. There is a scullery and laundry area equipped with a washing machine, a tumble-dryer, dishwasher, iron and ironing board. The living area contains a plasma TV with full DStv and Wi-Fi, as well as ample board games ensuring family entertainment.
The house has a double garage with security sensors for 2 vehicles. There is additional off-street parking for 2 vehicles. The beach house is fitted with an alarm system backed by a 24-hour armed response.
The beach house is close to the entrance gate of Die Plaat, part of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve. Die Plaat is a long beach of pristine white sand and rocky limestone outcrops to the east. There are numerous walking trails to the seashores about 200 m from the house. Klipgat cave which is one of the most important cultural assets in the Western Cape is walking distance from the house.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped, especially the large air conditioner in the lounge/living area and the inverter. The person who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. We had a blocked drain, and they managed to get a plumber out first thing on the Saturday before Christmas weekend. The house keys need ID tags; having to open and close them would make life a lot easier. The fridge door doesn't seal well if you aren't careful when closing it. Great comfortable beds, always important! Especially welcomed is the fact that the house is pet friendly.
Here, Maretha and Arend have created the perfect space for relaxation. The house is spacious with two bay areas and has everything you might need. It was extra nice because I could take my dog with me.
SEAesta was exactly what one needs if one wants to enjoy a wonderful break in Gansbaai. Spacious, neat, clean with all the necessary comfort and equipment. Plus basically right next to the Walker Bay nature reserve and 3 blocks from the coast with an ocean view from the patio and master bedroom.
This home exceeded all expectations. The house is equipped with everything one can think of for a nice seaside holiday - from a dishwasher to a board game/puzzle that provides hours of entertainment. We enjoyed every moment - from the friendly reception to our last day at the sea. We wish we could pack up this special vacation home and bring it home. Although the weather was awful we still had a great time. The house was everything we hoped for and more. Also, Arend the manager of the house was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back and hopefully we'll have better weather.

Ons is hartlik ontvang deur Arend en het dadelik tuis gevoel. Hy is 'n gasheer duisend! Die huis is pragtig en ten volle toegerus. Die huis is in 'n baie stil area geleë en ook sentraal genoeg om maklik by alles uit te kom. Ons dogtertjie is 20 maande en ons 3 honde reis ook saam. Die huis (en erf) is totaal en al kinder- en troeteldiervriendelik. Ons sal beslis weer gaan en sal dit beslis aanbeveel vir almal!

SEAesta was the perfect stopover for us. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed.
It's a nice holiday home. We were very kindly received by Mr De Waal. There is a bit of a view from a patio and from the master bedroom. The equipment is convenient - you don't even have to wash dishes. The bonus is - your puppy is welcome.
SEAesta is a nice big house with enough space. There is nothing missing in the place, everything is there from a coffee machine to a dishwasher. You can tell the owners are proud of their place and you can't help but feel the same about the place. We would love to stay at SEAesta again anytime. It was nice!
