We had a great stay! The view is of course the highlight. The house is very well equipped with everything needed. It is clean and tidy. The area is very quiet and peaceful.
SeaKaya is a nice spacious place and well equipped with everything needed. Perfect indoor barbecue for windy evenings. Garage is also a winner. Right by the sea with a "stunning" view from the house and the porch. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

The view is particularly beautiful. The house is very spacious and the porch was lovely for coffee every morning. The kitchen is well equipped and when the wind blew terribly we were grateful that there was an indoor braai.
Despite the stormy weather, it was nice. View was exactly what we were looking for. Also note that you advertise that there is a bathtub in 1 of the bathrooms, which there was not. Both bathrooms have a shower only.
The place was painfully neat and clean. Our puppy went along and she was very safe. It is indeed an older home that is very basic equipped. The shower was terribly messy and we couldn't find mops or cloths to dry the floor.
The house is well located and has a nice view. We could observe whales from the living room. There are many places to eat and beautiful scenery in the area. We saw quite a few whales up close at Danger Point and also at De Kelders.

It had been great, except that we were without power for 2 days. It would have been nice if there was a gas duster. We should have gone and bought one. Other than that it was great. The sea view was great. I will definitely book again for the summer months.
Would definitely recommend and go again. The indoor grill is an absolute winner. Even power outages didn't bother us. Lights worked and what a surprise, Wi-Fi also worked during load shedding times. The view is beautiful! Hear and see the sea right in front of you. Very secure with alarms and gate that locks, and the garage is nice and big. Any large vehicle can fit comfortably.
We have booked the house four times and have never regretted it. Very clean and tidy and spacious. Perfect for casual get-togethers.
It was fantastic. The view of the sea on the veranda and when you wake up in the morning is breathtaking. The friendliness of the key carrier was excellent.

We were there for a week just after New Years. Although we didn't have good weather every day, the house was comfortable for any circumstances. It is very central and you can quickly drive out to places like Pearly Beach, Kleinbaai and Stanford. There is a lot to do in the area. We were 6 people but there is enough sleeping space for 8. The house is very basic with WiFi and TV (own DSTV taken along), everything we needed was there. We definitely want to go again, if we can find a place.

Bokkie and Minnie were very helpful before and during our stay at SeaKaya. The views of this place are wonderful! Sitting outside on the deck and watching the water while having breakfast and lunch was so peaceful and recharging. There is a lot of space, so bigger groups would have a great time. The yard and grass are also really nice, and the modern bathroom is great. One area that I rated lower was cleanliness. When we packed up and cleaned on our last day, we realised there was a lot of dog hair in each of the rooms we were in (bedroom, kitchen, braai area, bathroom), so this was a bit off-putting since we didn't have any pets with us and I'm not too fond of dog hair being everywhere, especially in the area where we eat. Other than that, we enjoyed every moment of being there and would definitely love to be back.
It's wonderful that there is WiFi now too, and the new bathroom they redid looks beautiful. Unfortunately there was an Eskom fault and the power was off from Friday night to Saturday afternoon and it would have been very nice to have a gas stove for morning coffee, but it actually added an extra adventure to the weekend.
Loved the scenery, friendly neighbourhood, close by shops. The first night alarm tripped and security responded. The night before we left the beams tripped and we pressed the panic alarm twice and only after a telephone call to the security company did they respond. The house is well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised by the loadshedding bulbs that helped a lot during loadshedding. We would recommend a gas stove to help during loadshedding. It was very hot and we couldn't swim in the small tidal pool and the kiddies' pool stayed dirty. Be aware of the guys walking around on the beach, the road to the tidal pool is very busy, and be prepared for traffic and kids walking up and down.
From friendly Uncle Deon (thanks Uncle!), coastal walks (which literally start across the street), accommodation that will meet anyone's basic needs, to a lock-up garage and alarm system to make you feel safe. Here you can really rest and relax. Gansbaai's supermarkets are literally 8 minutes' drive away. We will discuss again. For sure! Maybe just build a canopy on the deck. The sun is burning on the deck.
Our 2nd stay at SeaKaya for 2022 and just loved it! Very nice holiday home with a beautiful sea view. Walking distance to the shops. Spacious with big garden and everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

What a beautiful house next to the beach. When we got home, I booked it again for another longer stay later in the year. Lots of space, neat and has everything you need for a pleasant visit. Sat on the balcony for hours to watch the sunset and how lovely it was to hear the waves when we woke up in the morning. House is enclosed with a large garden for dogs. Definitely recommendable and worth the money.

A real seaside cottage with a phenomenal view of the sea from the balcony, living area and master bedroom. The indoor braai was so cozy with the little storm we had and on the one beautiful day we saw so many whales which ended our weekend so nicely. The hospitality was also exceptional and so friendly!

We always travel with our dog and she was safe in the large enclosed garden. This is the first time we have travelled to the area out of season, and it was perfect for us.
Wow, this place was lovely and exactly what we needed to switch off from the busy city work life. We brought our stepchildren with us this time. My heart was happy to be able to see my stepchildren could play safely at this big house. Just across the road you can also go for a walk with the woofs. Everything was just delicious, the view was incredibly beautiful. Nice holiday home. We are going to come back to the same house for sure.

You couldn't ask for a better location. Views are lovely and the walking trail passes in front of the house. Although it is an older house, it has everything one needs for a comfortable stay.
We really relaxed and rested and because we could go with 2 dachshunds it made it so much easier for us. The location is perfect and it's beautiful.

This house is right across the ocean with amazing sea views. The rooms are good sized and the bathrooms clean. You can see they took care with the revamp and it really looks nice. The braai room is a bit small but really cosy on a cold stormy night and once you open the front door and kitchen sliders it feels much larger. The kettle and toaster are mentioned below as being a bit of a stretch, however, my daughter is quite short but could still reach. The microwave is a bit high, but we never used it. We had stormy weather, so the house was rather cold, but the beds were warm. Panel heaters in the rooms and lap blankets would help for off-season visits. The stairs might put some people off, but the backdoor only has 2 steps down to the yard so I would not let that deter you. We went with our dog and the yard is enclosed and there is enough grass to romp around on. There are walking paths just across the road and a tidal pool/swimming area/braai area. I highly recommend Sea Kaya and we would love to visit again.
The view from the balcony is really amazing, there is also everything you need, an indoor and outdoor barbecue. It was really a privilege for us.
The kitchen and indoor grill area is smaller than I expected, but you definitely don't need anything more. Most of our time at home was outside on the deck or inside at the dining room table. The view from both is amazing. The house is neat and clean. Our dog child was safe while we went to visit the surrounding towns. Will definitely rent the house again on our next visit.

Perfectly equipped sea house! Nothing more needed. We had such a good time and relaxed. If the weather is bad you sit for hours at the dining room table overlooking the sea and on nice days on the stoep. Hours of relaxing on the porch and children can play safely in the fenced yard.
We only stayed two nights to visit family but I regret we couldn't stay longer. The house is spacious and tidy and value for money. The house sits on the sea (not a swimming beach) but the view is absolutely fantastic. Kitchen may be a bit small if there are 8 guests staying for a longer period.
The place is very neat and clean. The layout of the living and braai area is wonderful because you don't have to sit outside in the wind and sun to see the beautiful view. It is a very quiet area. I would not recommend using the tidal pool downstairs as it looks like there is a bit of a party going on. But still there was no noise or anyone bothering. My sons went fishing on the rocks and I could watch them from the cottage.
Will definitely use the accommodation again.
We had a fantastic 3 days. The location is spectacular. 360 degrees ocean views with walking trails right in front. Very comfortable house, with warm cosy bedding. Braai room has door directly to patio with views. Being right on the sea front it can be windy and this feature with an indoor braai with direct access to views was great. Definitely recommend this property.
Seekaya is neat and well equipped. It's nice and quiet and perfect for a weekend away from noise. You can rest well. View is breathtaking. There is an alarm system. So no need to worry about security. Will visit Seekaya again anytime.

The location of the house is perfect, very close to the sea with a breathtaking view. The house has more than enough space with more than enough seating, even though the kitchen is a bit small with a small 2-plate stove. Maintenance work is needed for the doors except this, I would highly recommend. Thank you so much for the wonderful time.

House right on the sea. We really enjoyed our time there. Old house with old rattan furniture but the view and location more than make up for it. We will stay at SeaKaya again. Definitely affordable accommodation.
The location is excellent - right in front of the coastline. However, the house looks bigger than it is. Since we were there in winter, the braai room was the heart of the place. It's very small though. It could not accommodate the entire group of 8. The interior fireplace in the living room is closed. It would have been good for warmth. The kitchen is also very small without much work space with a mobile two plate stove and oven. A plus is that there are two bathrooms. The beds were also good. Overall this is a good summer holiday home - not for winter.

We had a great stay at SeaKaya. The 'cherry' on the cake was of course that there were no water restrictions! The accommodation is very affordable. The road along the sea is directly opposite the house, and the view from the deck is breathtaking when the sun goes down. Definitely a nice house for a family or a group of friends for a nice weekend getaway.
