13 guests' feedbackWe had a wonderful time with family. Was centrally located for us to do things. The bonus was that you didn't have to drive far to the shops; it was all within walking distance of the unit. Unit was immaculately clean. Our reception was top notch.
Our stay at Seaside Village was just amazing. The apartment met our expectations: clean, fresh linen, and all the conveniences. It is genuinely a home away from home. Its location allows for easy access to the mall and beautiful sights of Table Mountain and the ocean. The view is to die for. We felt safe and took evening walks late into the night along the beachfront. Five stars for me.
Significantly overpriced for what it was. Took an hour to find it - very poor arrival instructions. Never actually received any instructions about the property. Good for your family to arrive on a scooter as the associated parking space was about that size and I got clamped for parking in a sensible sized place instead. Do bring your window cleaning kit so you can see out of the windows, but then do you actually want the view of everyone in the noisy restaurant 10m from your bed or a view of the shopping centre car park? Half the price for what it was would have been fair.
Yolandi was very helpful when I had questions and helped quickly. Unit is nice walking distance from the shops which makes it easy with small children. Nice view and also a peaceful complex. No complaints.
I would definitely recommend family/friends to stay over .
The accommodation is in a nice area.
The unit is on the same level almost a few meters from the Spur restaurant, facing an extremely noisy car park and not at the beach at all. Photos on the internet are misleading and were the front door lock defect resulting in front door not being able to lock. Had to repair it myself (or try). Safety is an issue and the surrounding residential units are noisy.
Very nice and peaceful atmosphere with the most beautiful view of the city and Table Mountain.
Apartment was very clean and tidy. The view from the apartment directly into Spur was not pleasant. It would have been nice if we had known ahead of time that the apartment was located in a "mall". It was very busy and there was no privacy. We prefer to be more remote and private.
The place needs a proper cleaning, 4 of the lights didn't work. The beds are not up to standard. Bathroom - shower head also needs replacing and the bathrooms need upgrading. We were very disappointed with the stay there.
Else made us feel at home. We had an amazing time. Birthday highlight was the flowers delivered to the apartment. Thank you Else for making it possible.
It was a very nice weekend, with great views and close to the beach and shops. All that was missing was a gas barbecue on the balcony.

House rules
There is a family restaurant located across the road and noise from the restaurant is to be expected.Holding Security Deposit:
A standard key & breakage deposit is due before or at check-in. The holding amount depends on length of stay and the standard of the apartment and may be changed at owner’s / management’s discretion.
The holding deposit is completed through a secure link with a credit card. This is merely a hold on the amount and released within 14 days after check out if no claims was reported. There will be no actual deduction from your account and therefore there will be no credit. When looking at your bank statement, you will see the hold and the available balance will be less than the actual balance. When the hold is released, you will no longer see the hold and your available balance will again correspond with the actual balance. If no credit card is available for the holding deposit, the deposit is payable via EFT but needs to bank and reflect in our account before arrival. We will then request your bank confirmation letter to process the refund bank to your account.
If none of the two options above was actioned a refundable cash/debit card payment must be made before check in can be completed and there would be a min fee of R150 applicable for the processing of the refund back to your account. NO cash refunds will be allowed.
Deposits will be refunded within 14 days after check out, should everything be in order.
The purpose of the Holding Deposit is for any incidentals including, but not limited to, Lost or Broken Keys, Damages to Property, Stained or badly soiled Linen, Excessively Dirty Apartment, Noise Complaints, or any Breach of House Rules
