Our stay was very pleasant. We were in Unit 12. The maintenance and cleanliness of that unit could be better. The grass around the little pool has little thorn bushes. Children will not be able to play on that grass without shoes (we learned the hard way!). The kitchen needs upgrading. The layout of the unit is very good and spacious.

Reception staff were very friendly. The room was neat, just a pity we didn't have towels the first night. The guests next door were noisy until after 1am both nights we stayed over. Unfortunately the signal is very weak, we could not report it. The guests in the unit opposite us had 3 dogs that barked all the time. The lodge rooms are not private, will instead book other units in the future. Load shedding is unfortunately still a problem, inverters for the rooms or units would be nice to at least be able to charge a phone or blow hair. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were very friendly!
No WiFi, no black bags, cleaning starts and wakes us up at 09:00.
This establishment smelt of neglect. The shower door was broken, as were the blinds and cutlery. The glassware did not match. The swimming pool, especially the heated pool, was smelly and dirty. Our room was not ready upon arrival, and we were told to wait for an hour. It was really not a wonderful stay, quite disappointing.
Bad and uncomfortable. We complained from the minute we entered the house. Our stay was frustrating. No bath towels, shower mats. Not enough kitchen cutlery for self-catering unit. Had to wait two hours before we checked in, and we were told they were still cleaning, but when we arrived in the unit, it was like no one even bothered to clean.
Please do read my review before booking at the Seasons. The staff at reception was welcoming and friendly, but the service at the resort itself was horrendous. The chalet furniture is old and filthy. The throw pillows were so dirty that I left them on the ground after the cleaners would put them back on the couches. There were cracked tiles, and the microwave was filthy. There was no mop and a dirty broom. The cleaners are very friendly and tried to assist when we asked them for help. The beds in the rooms are old and falling apart; they definitely need to be replaced. The fridge was not working properly, and the shelves were removed. After complaining, they brought another fridge which had other problems. So we had 2 fridges that were old and not working properly. There was a power outage one night just after 6pm, and we sat in the dark for hours. We had to phone reception from our cell phones (with very bad reception) about 7 times asking for ETA and candles and candle holders because there were none in the chalet. They eventually brought the candles with no candle holders, so we had to use the bowls. We felt very unsafe and uncertain as we could not see anything in this strange, never been before place. The person on duty just kept on saying he does not know and then started ignoring our calls. The power only came on the next day at 12h00. The braai area was a total disaster as the roof was leaking; we had rain the same night the power was off. We had to once again phone reception to ask maintenance to assist, after which the maintenance person tried to assist as best he could but also with some attitude and a bit of kick back and blaming everyone else. They took a pool cover to throw over half of the roof, so we could not even enjoy the outside area or use the braai. This did not solve the problem as the rain was still pouring through the roof. There were no fans in the chalet; we had to ask for a fan. The master upstairs bedroom had a TV bracket and cable, but the TV was missing. This is unacceptable as we book according to what is offered online. The restaurant service was very poor; they were out of stock of so many things that it became frustrating just sitting there. The menu had very few options and was very expensive. The waitress, after the 4th time of asking something, just rolled her eyes at me and could not understand what I was asking. My husband spoke to the manager; my husband listed all the issues, and he was not very helpful or understanding. The manager basically shrugged us off and said there is nothing he can do as the chalets are under the “holiday club” or something to that effect, but he is the establishment's manager. This could be a lovely holiday destination, but due to poor management, it was really a bad experience, and we will not recommend it to anyone. The monkeys were a huge problem; there were way too many and out of control and aggressive. This is nature, I do understand, but they have to advise/inform you that the monkeys are a problem and/or that they are looking into a humane solution to this problem. We had to find out ourselves that the monkeys are a problem, with the monkeys coming into the chalet front door while we are sitting outside and grabbing our food, and the monkeys literally throwing stones at us. One of the main reasons for the monkeys being around for so long is that the dustbins outside had no lids, so they were digging out the garbage. We had to go into our chalet for more than an hour, waiting for the monkeys to calm down and quiet down. I think for what you pay a night vs what we got, we were robbed. The “Grocery shop” tuck shop hardly has any stock, and also after inquiring, the cashier was not very helpful. We all work hard to have a nice, deserved “not for free” break, but we truly feel some sense of being robbed. The security at the gate checks your boot one day, and the other days lets you through without checking. I do not even want to know what chaos it will be on public holidays with day visitors entering the resort because they cannot even manage and control or assist the visitors that had booked accommodation. We had to make the best out of a bad situation. Rooms rated 1 out of 5. Service rated 1 out of 5. Location rated 3 out of 5. Overall rating 1 star. Only after writing my own review did I see all the bad reviews, and everyone had the same issues. This is not acceptable, and people should be offered their money back because I feel it is way too expensive to be given this service.
In short, it was perfect.
Rooms are clean. A bar fridge and basic cutlery would be helpful. The food was great at the restaurant, but expanding the menu is needed. The spa services and staff were exceptionally great.
Great place to visit especially if you have kids. The unfortunate part was that the check-in time is stated as 15:00, but the actual check-in time at the establishment is 16:00.
The only challenge was the lack of backup power. We used candles.

Although we had a nice stay, it was very noisy with very loud music and shouting from other guests that continued until midnight. The unit was not at all what we had booked. The pool water was very dirty.
None of the beds had "fitted sheets" on them. Reported it twice.
The noise level from the other guests was terrible. We could not sleep at night as they were making noise till the wee hours of the morning. No phones in the rooms so we couldn't even call reception to report this. No security personnel in sight.

The hotel should alert guests upon booking that their own transport is essential as they do not have a shuttle service. I had to walk to the gate with my children which is about 10 to 15 Km from the room to try to get a Bolt. As the place is far out we had to sit in the heat and wait as it took an hour to get Bolt. My son needed an iron, we phoned housekeeping and after waiting an hour he had to walk to reception where he was told to go back, housekeeping will bring it. They arrived 2 hours later with the iron. The toilet had a small water leak. Wifi only works in the reception area and not in the rooms.
I just won't go there again. The house is awesome and the location is good, but having neighbors who play loud music all night and nothing is done about it, even if you try to call, no one answers the phone. It's not worth it at all. You pay dearly for the accommodation and they don't have a generator, which makes it a nightmare especially with our summer temperature and you can't turn on the air conditioner. Which is also bad, you can only clock in at 16:00 and then clock out again at 10:00 the next morning. So again one pays a lot of money for a very short period of time.
Loud music till late.
According to advertisement, check-in is 15:00, but we had to wait more than an hour for our villa's key, according to reception, check-in is only 16:00. After we had to call a 3rd time to have the safe fixed (each time they apparently send someone, but no one shows up) we only learned that the safe is no longer for guests to use. The towel rail was only fixed on the 2nd day of our stay. The cleaner couldn't help us with an ash drum black bag so we could replace it. No dish soap was available. Sliding doors cannot be locked properly, all are broken at the locks. In the kitchen drawers there were black mats under the knives etc. which gives off a horrible smell. The oven door cannot close properly, we could not use it. The restaurant had no chips. Cell phone signal is very weak, wifi reception is only available at reception. We did receive the best service at the golf club.
The unit was right next to a development. Upon entering, the trash was not removed. The kitchen cupboards were broken. I requested another unit which had the most unsafe staircase, bathrooms were not clean. Basic essentials were lacking. Highly not recommended.
We arranged early (about a week earlier) to check in at 2.30pm, 30 mins earlier than per the booking. Unfortunately we hit traffic and didn't arrive until 3:30pm. Upon arrival and after all the paperwork was completed, we were told we would have to wait 20 minutes because the accommodation was still not ready. Extremely disappointed as we are traveling with babies. Upon arrival at the unit, we are told that there are no towels, and they will be delivered shortly. No towels delivered the first day. No black bags in the one tiny bin. Some rooms have hand cream, but no soap or hand wash. We called the reception, but only promises. No response. The next day with the cleaners we also asked. But only bad attitude and inappropriate manners were received. We called the reception again. No response. After 3 calls and 2 visits (over a 5 hour period) to the reception, towels were delivered. But still no black bags or toilet accessories - apparently they are out of stock. What's weak is that some rooms had it, logo and all, but others didn't. Two bars of soap were later delivered. Again with extremely inappropriate attitudes. Two out of the four rooms could not lock doors to the inside or outside. Will never recommend them because of the attitude and service. Although the apartment was nice (but didn't have enough cutlery and glasses) and we were able to have a nice and private visit, I would never recommend them! Extremely disappointed for the price we paid!
The upstairs bedroom's sliding door's glass is filthy, can't see through it. No bulb in the bedside lamp. The toilet is loose and not cemented to the floor. Sticky, oily substance on the floor. Window sills have cobwebs etc. Towel (white) stained with pink mark. Downstairs. The bathroom and toilet windows are full of cobwebs. There were no forks in the utensil tray. Toaster broken. Blue fly dead in cupboard where glass bowls are kept. The fridge was broken inside, with such limited space, so we had to build towers on the two racks provided. Couches were filthy. The floor was definitely not clean. Even after housekeeping was there, they mop over dirt and don't sweep out first. The last straw was making an appointment at the spa for 6 pm on Tuesday, the 19th, only to be told that they don't have our appointment. The condescending attitude and looks from the staff were the last straw. They did try to accommodate us but by then I was fuming. The grounds are well kept and it is a beautiful concept but I will never be staying there again. The confirmed book-in time is at 3 pm but the resort only has unit "ready" by 4 pm.
From our arrival, check-in time is 15h00, we could only check in after 16h00 because chalet was not ready, spa is disorganized, nothing goes as booked, people are shouting, shouting, laughing and talking with loud music all weekend. There is no peace after 22h00 in the evening. Music plays non-stop morning till night, security has no control over people. Chalet is dirty. Table in living room was broken.
Not at all as the photos advertised on the site. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow. There were no drinks menus so when the bill arrived we were shocked at the price of a bottle champagne. There's litter all around the pool area. Extremely overrated and overpriced!

Overall, it was a nice stay. This was our second stay, and one thing did not change. The quality of the beds still remained poor/uncomfortable, after we previously complained. Our unit did not have sufficient parking, the unit next to ours parked in front of our unit whilst we had to park 2 parking’s away.
We arrived and waited more than an hour to check-in. We got to the unit and it wasn't cleaned properly and most of the things in the unit were broken.

Except this time we could see our place needs some tlc. The blinds were all broken and the 1 aircon wouldn't turn on. The chairs are also broken, but the place is very cute and located in a nice place. we really enjoyed the night, but on sunday morning there was a person opposite us who made music for the whole lodge from 6 o'clock in the morning.

It's a nice gateway and close, very nice rooms. Just the spa and restaurant that need better service.
There were no wine glasses in the rooms, nor did we have an option to book breakfast as part of the accommodation. Especially since it was not a self-catering unit.
We had a nice stay and the resort has good facilities. The unit we stayed in was not that well equipped. For example, there were no pans, oven mitts, candles (the power was off) or decent dish towels. The shower drain was blocked and there were only 2 towels put out for the 2 lower double bedrooms. The security of the resort can be improved, anyone can gain access by saying they are going to a restaurant or spa.
No value for money. My room didn't have a bar fridge or bath tub. Fee excludes breakfast.
The website's service was great, but the cottage was in dire need of renovation. Cupboards full of mould, broken furniture etc.
The manager at reception is disabled. We were told that check-in time was 15:00 and it wasn't until 16:00, she chased us away and told us to come back at 16:00 instead of telling us about their facilities that we could occupy ourselves with until we room was right. The same female driver did not have her mask on. They couldn't find our reservation and it was under my name the whole time, it made us feel like we didn't have a reservation. When we went back at 10 before 4 to get our room key the key was gone and when they found it there were no pillowcases and for that we had to wait in front, again they were incompetent, the manager ignored us. We were only able to get into our room just before 5 and could only swim for a short while before it got dark. We went to eat at the restaurant next to reception that evening and it was just me and my husband and one other couple, we waited 45 minutes for our food and when it arrived it was wrong again, their card machine didn't work for the 3rd time this same day even though they say they are cashless at reception. The scooters which are not part of the place were the only activity we enjoyed. The bathroom shower head is full of limescale and only a few drops come out so I couldn't wash my hair and had to take a bath. There was hair in the bathroom and oil stains on the bed and sticky marks on the bedside table and the other one was stained, the kettle was dirty and the lamps full of dust. We were told that there was a parking space for us right in front of the place, when we came back from the restaurant in the evening there were 2 other cars fighting over this parking space, we then went to the reception where told us sorry and that we had to find another parking place, we had to park quite far from our accommodation and walk there. There were people with coolers at the pool area and there is a sign on it saying no food or soft drinks may be taken in, when we pointed this out to one of the staff members they told us that we are not allowed to bring our cooler and have to buy from the small eatery by the pool. If the manager had treated us better we probably looked past all these things and enjoyed our break, we went home after one day because we didn't want to stay there any longer. We are now still waiting for a refund and further feedback from the website.
Insufficient parking (one parking area) for a unit with 6 adults. Poor service from the cleaning staff. No feedback from management regarding things brought to their attention.
My unit's air conditioning unit was out of order, the reception was informed and management was due to contact me. Nobody contacted me and even when calling the after hours numbers to address the noise levels. Nobody answered.
The lodge were not ready at 10am as organised for us. The kitchen could not give us food by 11am because I was told the kitchen needs to be cleaned and they not ready! When we got to our room only at 13:00 there was no bar fridge. The place looks like a flat. Not the same as the photos. There is a kitchen to share with the person staying next door, which we were not told about but none the less you also need to book this extra. Everything is extra and expensive. So basically you pay R1000 + for only a room with a bathroom. This is unacceptable. For a little more I could have stayed in Sun City's Cabannas. This is not a 4 star at all! I payed for 2 nights but the only highlight was the Tuesday. The manager said you only actually allowed to check in at 4pm and check out at 8am so you pay for a whole day and this is really not value for money. On the website the rooms looks like it is individual and private but there is absolutely no privacy. I feel that the website is also deceiving because surele someone should know about this bad set up. It's cash free, yet we were also not told. The staff members are rude and its to much for them to smile and be friendly. They building the lodge so it does not look pretty at all.
Nice lodge, a few issues regarding no manuals for kitchen appliances. Did not like the arrangement of sharing a lodge with other people. All lodges have 4 bedrooms, if you don't take all then the others get booked with strangers. We had one noisy couple next to us, be careful what you book. All staff friendly and helpful, though information regarding splash pool and services not forthcoming. A few maintenance problems, all problems solved with the hour, great service. Nice weekend away, pity it was winter so we couldn't use pools.
Firstly I have a credit with Seasons cause the website messed up my booking. I paid for a luxury 3 bed unit and was given something lower then that. Now Seasons does not want to pay my credit back to my account. They said I was supposed to use it at the restaurant. How can they force me to use my money where I don't want to. I got a self catering unit which we bought food for and why am I forced to go to the restaurant or spa. This service I got is not professional at all.
When I arrived, I didn't get parking on the unit. There was unknown car next to our unit.

Everyone to their own but for me to re-visit a place is saying much as I don't normally go back a second time. Swimming pools in superb condition. Staff (cleaners and gardeners) very friendly. The spa is really enjoyable. Love the free roaming animals.
Make sure you don't mind sharing a lodge with a stranger. As we arrived someone had taken our room and we found out that we are sharing the lodge with another couple. I wasn't very happy with that. I complained to the manager and they accommodated us in a very helpful manner. Please make sure on the website that you tell people this.
Besides being chased by the monkeys upon arrival. Absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay. The place is so beautiful and they have the friendliest staff. Oh and the spa out of this world. Loved it. Definitely going back again.

The residential units are very well equipped with everything that is needed. The resort offers many activities and the restaurant's meals are completely up to standard. The spa facilities are very good but unfortunately it is sometimes very noisy in the baths. We will definitely visit the place again.
Photos and reality do not match, false expectation created. Restaurant food is really good but service is hopeless. Wait literally an hour for order/service. Obtaining further information about resort/how things work/where what is etc. impossible to obtain. Would not recommend "hotel", but self catering should be fun for a family/family. Cute water park/pools.
Nowhere has there been an option to discuss the kitchen area together. When we got there with all our kitchen stuff and meat and small child, it's just our room, no self-catering unit. Then we had to try to make a plan, luckily they could move us to one that is open to the kitchen area, but we share other 3 couples. We have to close our doors all the time and close the kitchen.
We were at home in the Premium Villa for 3 nights during a rugby tour that was presented in Brits. It was a great break from the city and the unit was absolutely fantastic - clean, tidy and well appointed. The resort itself has enough activities to keep the children sufficiently busy and the restaurant's food can definitely be recommended as well. Once again a fantastic break with LekkeSlaap!

Booking at LekkeSlaap was easy and would recommend. Children really enjoyed the environment. Despite the policy at Seasons about loud music and noise, the other guests were hopelessly too noisy, it also took quite a while to get them to calm down. If it wasn't for that we would definitely go again, but because of the other units that were so close we would rather look for a smaller place where people can wear them.
