Barbara welcomed us, showed us to our Cabin and explained how to access the beach. Security on the Walkway bridges and on the beach. Felt very safe. Shopping centres and restaurants are all within driving distance. The Peace and sound of the Birds were excellent.

The place is really beautiful, private and the back gate that opens to the beach is my absolute favorite. I loved how kind and soft the owner is, really helped me with bath soap when I needed to refresh after my bag was left by the airline in Johannesburg. She is an absolute breath of fresh air and so accommodating, I loved every minute of it.
The only issue I had was that the heat was unbearable and the cabin was extremely hot - the fans were a God send but I feel there needs to be another fan upstairs for the hot summer months as the two double-storey cabins are in the sun all day. An aircon would also be welcome! But other than this we loved the accommodation and we enjoyed our stay with our doggies.
It accommodated everyone including the children.
Will definitely stay here again! Next time we will bring the cat home with us.

It was well located with regards to. the beach. A 5min walk only and there was always a security presence at the pedestrian bridge and you felt safe on the beach. Seaspray Cabins offered a relaxing setting without the hustle and bustle of large venues. Rates were fair. The only challenge was the heat and humidity and a single fan in the cabin did not do the job. No WiFi available so you have to cater for your own.
This is our 4th time at Sea Spray Cabins. Barbara and Colin make us feel so welcome. It is so lovely that I can bring our little doggie with. Completely closed in and safe for the little ones. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back. The beach is close by and safe. Thanks for having us.
Suggest they provide clean bedding for people staying longer than a week. Between the main bedroom and the other room in the cottage maybe just a curtain hangs for a little more privacy.

Upon arrival we were told they don't accommodate Black people, we are too loud, told him it should have been communicated prior, he advised he can give us a refund since we were desperate we had to accept the treatment.

This is the most amazing and cosy place I have ever stayed, everything you need is available, fully catered cabin, individual braai areas per cabin, swimming pool, pool table, games room, and walking distance to the beach. And my fur child was able to join us on this amazing holiday. I will definitely be back.

Lovely place if you seek peace and quiet for your soul. Beach walking distance (across railway bridge, wouldn't walk there alone as a woman). Furthermore, you have to drive wherever you want to go, e.g. for take-away meals etc. Beautiful scenery and very helpful management. Went out of their way to help us. I would definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway, family reunions. Will think twice for long vacation.

The place is great, but was disappointed though because the pool was so green and we could not use it. I was specific when booking that I need a place with a pool since the beach is not a stone throw away. Please try to keep your pool clean, especially when you're expecting guests.

Clean and tidy place was immediately available even though we were a little early. Just short of space to wash and dry clothes. They can also look into putting fans or aircon in the games room and maybe better TV for people who want to watch sports.

Had to find accommodation as close as possible to Durban at a reasonable price. Don't regret our choice. Colin accommodated us in the nick of time with an amendment to our reservation (from two to three persons) which we really appreciate. We were kindly received and had a great time with the wooden house. Everything you need is there in every little place and for purchases there are several centers very close by. Great place to hang out at the braai. Attractive sparkling swimming pool and very neat gardens. Just a stone's throw to the lovely open beach where we spent hours walking and swimming. Will return there again and definitely recommend the place.

The stay is pleasant and the service is friendly. Prefer air conditioning, but fan did the trick. The parking is a bit far from the accommodation, so you carry your luggage a long way although there are trolleys. Otherwise I can't complain. Will stay there again.
