We were warmly welcomed by the owner. The interior is dated but spacious and clean. A lovely big enclosed stoep with a stunning view of the mountain. There is no TV but there are enough games and books to read.

Jenny is an amazing host and the home was equipped with so many activities and supplies. Blessed with the extra blankets on a cold weekend.
Although the accommodation is basic, it was very comfortable and, apart from there being no TV, all other needs were catered for. My colleague was booked into other accommodation which leaked badly, and the owner accommodated her with me in the cottage at short notice. The cottage is within easy walking distance to the town centre.
We had a wonderful stay, the sun terrace is a dream with a beautiful view!

We had a lovely stay at See-view Guest House in Clarance. The view was breathtaking. The big garden with all the fruit trees and the old fashion house, felt as if I was stepping a little back in time, and just enjoying a simpler way of living, away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Just relaxing. And the bright side to loadshedding was the view of the beautiful starlit sky at night. Our hostess was great. Friendly, and on top of things. Supplied us with the relevant loadshedding schedule, a list of things in and around the beautiful Clarance to do. The house was neat and clean. Easy walking distance from the town square.
Was family with younger children. Board games were also very welcome.
The house needs a lot of work with peeling paint and very dated bathrooms, kitchen etc. The geyser in the en suite bathroom "boils" all the time. There are no electric blankets on the beds and the bed we slept on definitely needs to be replaced. The shower has almost no pressure.

We had a nice stay in the nice and spacious house. Nothing fancy, but clean and tidy with everything you need. Conveniently close to all the cute spots in Clarens, with a lovely view of the beautiful mountains.
We loved the fact that we could park our cars, and not need them for the rest of our time there (except if you want to see Golden Gate National Park). The main town square is easy to walk to, just 400 m, and yet our nights were quiet for a good night's sleep. A big house, with a huge yard, plenty of space. This house has all you need.
The residence is not luxurious, but there was everything that was needed, and everything was clean and tidy. Very spacious house, with 2 living areas inside, and braai area outside. Large garden, lots of space for children to play. Walking distance from town centre.

Jenny is very friendly and helpful. View very nice. However, the house needs a lot of renovation. Mattresses are no longer firm. There is plenty of fridge space, but little freezer space. The house is so spacious that it can easily be divided into two.

We were two families with four children aged 7 and under. The house is very well furnished and has heaters and extra blankets for the cold. The house is just far enough from the busy parts of Clarens not to be disturbing, but close enough to walk everywhere you want to be! The giant garden was an absolute treat for our children!

We had a very nice stay. The house is large and ideal for families or groups of friends to have a good time. The view is beautiful and the shops are within walking distance of the house. The house is neat and well equipped for a weekend getaway.
We had a comfortable stay; was also good to get away from technology - no tv or wifi, so teens spent very little time attached to their devices. Short walk to main street. Jenny was most accommodating and friendly.
Could do with a television, and also a fireplace, going to be cold in the winter.
