9 guests' feedbackPerfect location, basic but very neat interior. Lovely to have the outdoor patio area! The indoor braai/fireplace needs work as the house constantly smells like smoke, even when we arrived, so we had to keep the doors open a lot. A carpet is more maintenance but even a simple straw-type one would be nice for winter to keep the space a little warmer.
The house is spacious and has all the necessary facilities, even a dishwasher! The house was clean and tidy.
Ins had a nice stay. The location of the place is outstanding and so neat and well equipped. We will definitely use the accommodation again.

It was very nice, Seefront Selfsorg was not busy that week. We traveled little during our 3-day stay. After we left, I forgot an important item in the house. Both the host and the cleaners went out of their way to return it to me.
Seefront Selfsorg is ideally located on the doorstep of Victoria Bay beach. The house itself seems run down and basic maintenance has been neglected. A deep clean is definitely needed. The towels need to be replaced and the linen updated. Overall, we had a good stay outside the house and spent most of the time on the verandah.
Cabinets and furniture are battered and can tell they are well past their date.
The self-catering has everything you need and everything went well. I just feel that attention should be given to updating the kitchen sink and so do the bathrooms. Cleaning of the place was not so good. Washing machine and tumble dryer were dirty. Bathrooms need good cleaning and also in area where laundry needs to be hung. There were also only candles available for loadshedding. Maybe spend more attention on it as loadshedding is not going away anytime soon. Windows in the rooms also very dirty.
Will definitely have to replace furniture, breakables. Indoor grill needs upgrading. Cleaners are definitely not doing their job, barbecues on the veranda dirty, full of stumps, veranda's floor not washed after she was there, parking a problem if you have a large vehicle, but the location and the view you will not easily find again not. If place gets upgrade, I will go again.
