Plenty of room with excellent location.
We had a great time, everything was tidy and the view of the sea from the balcony was our highlight every day. All the amenities you need, nice board games, walking distance from the sea with a breathtaking view while you have a cozy barbecue and hang out on the balcony. All I can recommend is a good light in the grill itself, just used a cell phone light to shine on the grill.
Very accomodating. Had everything u need from dishwasher to washing machine and utensils and cleaning equiptment. Would book anytime again.
Wonderful place to spend a night. The unit has everything you need. Check-in was super easy and Gillian was very responsive. When we next travel through Paternoster, we will check to see if Seekat is available!
Enjoyed the crayfish.
Everything was good, except for a pungent smell coming through the door connecting Seekat 3 and the laundry. A very unpleasant smell that travelled into our rooms. I think there is a blocked drain.

Seekat has a beautiful view of the sea with a beautiful sunset and sunrise. It is walking distance from the beach. Very close to the shops. Definitely worth it.
Relaxing environment.
Only one problem is that when you are with friends, then using the toilet is something of a disturbance for you who sleep in the master bedroom.

Seekat 1 is the perfect spot in Paternoster. Although it doesn't have a sea view, it really doesn't bother at all. The stoepie is perfect for a delicious braai and because it is quite above street level, you can look out and see. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Walking distance from the sea and from the town, with parking next to the house. There is an indoor fireplace for a chilly evening, and well-equipped kitchen. A big plus is that it is puppy friendly, which we really appreciate. Communication throughout was easy and quick, and Gordon was quick to greet us to hand over the key. The wifi password didn't work but it really wasn't the end of the world - it was a getaway weekend after all!
Our stay was excellent. Private but spacious. The unit was very clean and modern.
We had a great time at Seekat 1, the cottage is equipped with enough blankets, clean towels and is neat and clean. It also has a rechargeable light for loadshedding. It's nice and close to the sea and has a nice porch to watch the sunset. Our Pekingese and her two babies really enjoyed the porch. We didn't have a pan but Gill's husband sorted us out with one. Only problem is the fridge is a bar fridge and therefore small. We had to grill our meat on arrival as there was no freezer to store it. If I could recommend, I would advise that a proper fridge be installed to freeze things for later use. Otherwise I would recommend it to anyone. Will definitely come back.

It was a lovely getaway. The place was just big enough for what we needed. Love the porch, walking distance from the beach, was a really nice weekend. Something I just want to mention, that the master bedroom's mattress may need to be replaced at some point because it is quite worn out on one side.
The three cottages suited our needs perfectly. It was clean and cosy with a perfect location. We will be back. I already recommended Seekat to friends.
The place to stay is lovely and has the most beautiful view from the barbecue patio. It's spacious, very well furnished with good quality bedding, super clean and even has an alarm system. It's walking distance to the beach and the biggest bonus was that we were allowed to take our Schnauzer with us. We will definitely go again!

Seekat 3 is ideal for 2 couples holidaying together - we really liked the layout where the 2 en-suite bedrooms are completely separate from the living room and kitchen. The unit is very neat and well equipped with everything you need for a nice break. The view on the stoep is breathtaking and just right for braai and sunset strolls. You are within walking distance of the beaches, shops and eateries, even the Paternoster Waterfront is just a short beach walk away. We will definitely book here again, thank you so much Gillian for your hospitality!

Seekat1 is the perfect place to stay for Family of 4. The stoep is the place where you will hang out until the sun goes down. Large shower and bathroom in the master bedroom. 300 m walk from the stand. Has alarm and security gate. Nothing more needed, everything is there. great great

My husband and I went with our 2 baby dogs and had a great time. Quiet on the top floor with a sea view and nice barbecue on the sheltered porch. Lovely quiet area, walking distance to the beach.

We underestimated the weather a bit and got cold the first night, when we brought it to the attention of the hostess she immediately arranged for extra blankets. The stoep is a very cozy meeting area with the sea as a background.

Our stay at Seekat was very beautiful! We had a very nice time as a family together braaing and watching the breathtaking sunsets from the balcony. That is something priceless that definitely gets included in your price! We recommend Seekat for a family that is just looking for a relaxed breakaway from the city! It would've been nice if the kitchen was a bit more equipped. There wasn't any good braai equipment witch made braaing quite difficult. And simple things like black bags and toilet paper was very limited. For the rest it was definitely something we recommend!
Manufacturer user manuals for appliances can be useful i.e. gas stove, microwave etc.

Absolutely love staying at Seekat. We enjoyed the peaceful time and being able to walk around the area at any time of the day or night. The bottle of wine on arriving was thoroughly enjoyed.
My wife and 2 young sons enjoyed our stay at Seekat 1. The accommodation provided everything we required for the time we spent there. We were lucky enough to enjoy a couple of days without rain and could go for walks, especially on the beautiful beaches. We had a wonderful stay in Seekat 3. We were 5 people and lived comfortably there. Everything you need is there and it looks just like in the photos. Good location. See the sea from the porch. Will definitely go back there.
Octopus 1 is clean and tidy but small. Although it can sleep 4 people it is actually more ideal for 2 adults or a couple with small children. The kitchen has all the basic equipment and has only one prepbowl available. There is a small, compact two-plate stove/oven but a nice spacious porch with a braai outside. Limited DStv package (no sports channel).
The unit is neat and clean. And ideally located. Would definitely recommend it.

We had a great stay in Seekat 1. Paternoster and surrounding areas are so so beautiful and my "new" husband and I really enjoyed it! We were brought a bigger grill for the braai and the fire place in the house made our evenings delicious! We also had a great time with the "locals"! Total and all worth it! Thank you very much!

My husband and I just wanted to get away with our 5 month old puppy. The cottage had everything we could need. The location is great! Neighbors are also friendly and I felt safe. It was very clean and the owner was friendly and helpful. It was so nice and peaceful. There is a small oven-stofie combination and a nice braai area on the stoep. The fridge is medium sized so you have to plan carefully what you can keep cold.
The weather was not so nice, but beautiful flowers at Postberg.

We had our wedding reception in Paternoster with an intimate group of friends. Our stay was so comfortable with everything you would need. I had to decorate the wedding cake with chocolate mousse filling and chocolate ganache, and all the kitchen supplies were available (except mixing bowl), maybe salad bowl provided. We invited a friend along and all that was awkward was going through the master bedroom to the bathroom. If only there was a separate toilet.

We enjoyed our stay & exploring the town; accommodation is clean and has everything you need. Rina also very knowledgeable about the town. We just felt the lounge cushions bit slippery and there was no extra warm blanket for the beds.
We loved the fireplace, but the couches were not very comfortable as one wants to curl up on the couch during winter. The entire house had tiles so it was cold. A great place to stay during the summer months.
We loved the decor and the holiday feel to the place. It was cosy, yet spacious. The house had everything you would need in it. A real home away from home. We had the privilege of meeting the owner, Rina. A beautiful soul and was able to educate us about the area. We will be booking for the new year.

We had an amazing 4 days in the picturesque village. The house was extremely neat and I really liked the decor. There was everything we needed and not a single moment of trouble with anything. Can recommend Seekant 1 to anyone.

I have never been to Paternoster, this was my first visit. Seekat 1 is a lovely little beach house within walking distance from the beach. It has a big veranda for a leka afternoon braai and a cosy little fireplace for when it gets chilly. The owner Rina also looks after her guests very well. Only negative I would say is kids walking down the street looking for things to steal, in my case climbing on my car to reach grapes that were not yet ripe!
Hospitality was greatly appreciated. I would recommend persons to use the facility at any time. A comfort home away from home.
