The place was beautiful and peaceful. I love that you can walk around the area without being afraid. Loved the house we stayed in.
Seeperdjie has a beautiful sea view from the living area, sheltered porch and 2 of the bedrooms. We had a wonderful stay and would stay there again anytime. Convenient and safe.
Enjoyed Seeperdjie and would recommend it. Although it is self-catering, it was strange not to have a dish towel for drying dishes and a cloth for e.g. not being able to wipe the table outside.

The house is spacious and comfortable for a family of 6 and within 5 minutes walk from the sea. The fireplace is ideal for cold winter evenings and the outdoor barbecue area is sheltered from wind and rain. We had a very nice stay.
Family consisting of elderly parents, their two daughters with spouses, had a great time in an excellently located and well equipped property.

Breathtaking view. The house has all the necessary items you need and very safe with gates that close and an alarm system. Seahorse is definitely recommended. A recommendation to the owners would be to consider a more modern living room set that suits the modern home.
There was no personal attention from the agents. Our clothes were stolen from the thread. It felt like we had to keep everything locked up even though we were home. Inside was clean and tidy. However, the upper balcony and porch by the braai could do with a good wash. Lights are provided for loadshedding, but leave a lot to be desired. There was a gas stove, but matches are not even provided.
We have stayed at Seeperdjie on 2 previous occasions. However this time bedding appeared well used and not as clean/crisp as before. My wife started itching in the bed. The few hours we did not have loadshedding the DStv did not work. Also did not realize you get one toilet roll for your stay. So need to bring toilet paper, body wash, shampoo and possibly extra towels. I love the location and view from top bedroom. Will definitely return but just disappointed that this time the rooms and bedding weren't that clean, DStv didn't work coupled with 9 hours of loadshedding for the day (not owners fault) made our stay less pleasant than previous occasions.

Seeperdjie is in the perfect spot for a view over the sea. So tranquil.
It was nice and quiet away from the city noise. but the most enjoyable was the privacy. Was excellent.
Just know that there is a cemetery between the house and the sea, but this for sure that you always have a good view of the sea.
Second time we stayed there. Once again a lovely stay. View from Seeperdjie was perfect. House clean and all appliances worked. TV and Wi-fi worked.

Die huis is pragtig. Dit het alles in wat jy benodig. Die views are to die for. Het so 2 walvisse gesien speel in water. Sal definitief dit aanbeveel. Atmosfeer is rustig en dis so naby die strand.
The barbecue area needs some attention, and the garage needs a good fix and cleaning!
The house is well equipped and is spacious enough for 4 adults. The braai facilities on the stoep are indeed covered, but if it rains from the sea side, they are unusable. The roof leaks and water flows down the chimney.
Highly recommended for couples sharing or a family to spend time together. Very close to the beach. House is equipped with everything.
Two lights in the kitchen area was out of order, making it very difficult to prepare meals and eat at the little table. Upstairs shower head needs to be replaced.
This house is well situated, has a nice braai area and is fitted with all you need for a restful holiday. Though there are low walls and gates, one needs to be aware that people can easily gain access to the garden.
Would recommend that the check-in times should be more flexible without any extra charges. Our flights were already booked before we arranged accommodation and with the high normal everything changes. Furthermore, we found the place's floors were not properly clean.
The view is amazing, the house is very comfortable and well equipped. To make it perfect the upstairs shower hose should be replaced, a washing machine should be intalled and a garage should be made available to park a vehicle overnight.
Everything we needed was there, I am very grateful, we would recommend the window and floors to be cleaned a bit.

Arrival of the premises was stunning. The veranda with the view over the sea is breathtaking. If you are not a Capetonian then you will never appreciate it so much. The house is well maintained, everything works and is a real feel-good holiday home. We will be back!
Although difficult when an agency is letting so many properties, a few little gestures would have made a huge difference. A few sachets of coffee/tea to enjoy when one arrives, salt and pepper, soap in the showers. Was surprised that there were no tea towels and no spare blankets as it was freezing. A hairdryer would have been great. It's a lot to take along for 2 nights. Hope the bathroom door and leaking patio roof will be sorted.
I had to have R500 deposit for breakage, but there was no check list. There were then only 3 small plates and 3 soft drink glasses. The floors were definitely not mopped, there were dirty marks, I overlooked them, but otherwise it's a lovely place.
Beautiful views, clean and tidy! Lovely stay, everything you need. Burglar protection is recommended for the lower bedroom.

Our stay at Seeperdjie was slightly spoiled by the fact that we had to pay an extra R200 because we checked in after 17h00. The lady at reception explained that on Friday evening they wait until 19h00 for guests from the Cape, but on a Wednesday they can only wait until 17h00 because "the staff also want to go home". It is indeed on "Stay in Paternoster's" contract, but when you are competing in the accommodation industry this is not acceptable to me. Does this mean that we have to plan our flight to Cape Town so that we can be in Paternoster before 17h00? I have been running a guest house for 27 years in Durban and if I were to approach it that way we would have been in trouble for a long time.
The facilities are okay, it's just a shame that we had to constantly lock up everything because of the crime problem in Paternoster. Would've loved to leave a few doors and windows open to let in the ocean breeze.
We were very impressed with Seeperdjie. The place was very clean and tidy and well furnished.

Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
