From the point of view of elderly persons. No help with luggage, room extremely sparsely furnished. No chairs, sofas or storage space, no handrails in the shower or on the stairs. Had to bring in uncomfortable patio chairs to sit in very limited space. At 17.00 all staff leave the offices. No gate at entrance.

We arrived early to find out if we could put perishable food in the fridge while we were only able to check in for 2 hours. Manager personally put food in fridge and all the time staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The view from rooms unbeatable over the sea. The owner's artwork is truly unique and the on-site studio will leave you speechless. Recommended for sure.

The stay at the Bubble was amazing, with a breathtaking sea view and beautiful sunrise. Slept very well and enjoyed the hot tub outside with refreshments which were very welcome. It's a shame the restaurant's service is not as good as their food, and not as up to standard as with the great accommodation. Just a smile and a welcome would have made the waiting period and experience so much more perfect. Food was very nice.
The breakfast is the best I have had. The location of the room was perfect with an overview over the sea.
Terribly nice neat and clean. Everything was beautifully decorated. The hot water bags in the cupboard made a huge difference. There was full DSTV and the view is breathtaking. The included breakfast was a minor point but for the rest Seeplaas was definitely recommended.
We stayed at Garden Route @ Seeplaas Guesthouse for my father's 80th birthday and they went out of their way to accommodate us. They have the most beautiful sea view. (5 adults and 2 children).
We had a great time in the bubble and sat in the hot tub looking at the sea, they delivered us a nice platter with a bottle of wine, it was all very special.
Basic things need attention, e.g. lights not working, supply of ice, flashlight & lighter for log bath.
The bubble by sea farm is really very beautiful. However, there was no fridge or freezer, which we did not know beforehand. Luckily we didn't have meat etc that needed to be kept cold. Very nice, but don't know if the price justifies it.

Dit was 'n uitstekende ervaring so naby aan die see en die ligging is netso goed omdat dit naby en tussen al die besienswaardighede is. Staff is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Ons het regtig 'n aangename ervaring gehad.
We only stayed one night for our wedding anniversary, but it was worth it. Staff were friendly and helpful, we had a romantic meal in the room (takeaway sushi) and thoroughly enjoyed the view. Breakfast the next morning in the restaurant was excellent.
We were upgraded to a sea view room before our arrival because the television in the booked room didn't seem to work. It was cool and we appreciated it. Suggestion: provide free biscuits/biscuits at coffee/tea making facilities. One expects it in that price range.
It would be great if they did offer a breakfast with the price of the room.
Perfect place to visit if you want a place to unwind or stop during a long trip. Clean,beautiful rooms and the staff will assist with any requests. Amazing outlook over the ocean while in bed so perfect for couples. Worth the money for sure.

Beautiful decor, quality finishes, view is dramatic and unforgettable. Best mattress ever! The tub is super uncomfortable and the size of a pond, water cools down quickly. Wish the units were more private, if the curtains aren't closed everyone who walks by sees you in your bed! No one checked us in or out, but did send a video (which helped a lot) since we checked in late. Restaurant is just okay, nothing special, pizza, chips, cake, etc. Coffee not great. Go to Carola Ann's in Mossel Bay for food instead. But that view will bring me back! The beach is also fantastic for walking/running/laying.
We decided to spend the last night of our honeymoon at Seeplaas. originally decided to cancel this last day and rather go home, but chose to keep the booking because we knew the guesthouse would have taken such a huge financial knock this past year and we wanted to assist in our small way. We arrived early on the 26th of December, did not expect at all to go into our room, we just needed a staff member to put contents of a tiny cooler box into a fridge. After walking around the entire property, I called the owner, who informed me the staff were all on leave. He said he would call a cleaner to assist. She came out & helped thankfully. When returning later, we then realised we could not get food or even a colddrink at the guesthouse. I understand it was a public holiday, however, if you are running a guest house there should be staff there. If you want to let your staff go on leave, then as owners, you ensure you are there. I was not informed by teh website that the restaurant would be closed on family day. It was most certainly not my responsibility to find this out. the place felt like a ghost town. We left 2 hrs after arriving at Seeplaas due to all of the above. I sent a msg to the owner, who read it but did not respond. We actually saw many cars arriving at the restaurant and then drive away. Loss of business. Considering that tourism is none existent and has been since March, I am beyond shocked that when locals try and support this guesthouse, we receive this service.
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are beautiful and well-equipped with new linen. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is very central and has easy access to the motorway. There is also a nice gallery on site. Very nice sea view.
From your bed, high on the dune, you look out at the sea and the waves. The room is clean and looks luxurious. In the evenings the waves lull you to sleep, and during the day you can walk down to the beach. Best place for a wedding treat! I'm coming again!

It is ideal seafront accommodation. Clean, neat, expensive linen, nice bath and shower, and the views are great! We saw dolphins and whales. The restaurant has good service and served mouth watering food. This is a gem!

Fantastic venue and very comfortable, loved the sound of the waves all night and day - restaurant closed on Easter Sunday evening and Monday morning. Had a bit of irritation with a brand new toilet cistern getting stuck.
