9 guests' feedbackRichmond is not a town we would stay at again. Too noisy. The stone house is absolutely beautiful but with a main road passing by it is not the quietest place to sleep but a really lovely house.
What a beautiful, sensual and breathtaking interior. Very fine and creative planning has indeed been done with the layout and restoration. So much so, that an article about Seisoen Karoo Retreat appeared in the TUIS magazine. It was quite an experience to be able to spend the night there. Als was top notch. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Comfortable beds, warm rooms thanks to air-con, bathrooms more than adequate, outside seating with pool would be fabulous to have had an opportunity to use.
We needed to travel onto Johannesburg the next day and the location of the house seems to be on a busy corner so the traffic was loud. There was a loud party in the area which seems to happen most Sundays according to a local, so we didn’t get good rest for our trip. Alarm wasn’t working and the mosquitoes were out of control. Perhaps a nest somewhere in the house worth Investigating.

Wanki and Christina were very friendly and helpful. They quickly made us feel at home. It really is a beautiful house. The house makes up for what the village cannot necessarily always offer. Cuddly dressing gowns, good beds, quality linen, air conditioning, WiFi and more! It is pet-friendly accommodation and completely fenced with proper walls, one does not have to pay extra per pet either. Just watch out for the cacti - there are many - animals and small children should not come near. I would recommend the accommodation anytime.
It is very nice, beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely stay there again.
Loved the décor, comfortable beds and good quality linen. Huge verandah to relax on after a long day of travelling. Braai box was yummy, but personally thought that it was slightly overpriced.
