We feel that for the cost per night there should be provision for power outages, as the accommodation is not cheap.
The large lawn is very beautiful, and the swimming pool is very appropriate. The rooms are nice, and it's a nice life on the farm. For tranquility, the destination is the best. Nice dirt road for mountain biking. Recommend the place to any vacationer.
Because of the hockey, we had to drive into town every day. Would like to enjoy more of the farm's peacefulness. Would have liked at least WiFi in the room to be able to chat with our daughter in town. We didn't even have regular cell phone reception in the room.
Although we only stayed 1 night, the place was something special. Tranquility on the farm, large lawn all along the water stream allows one to relax properly. Will definitely visit for longer next time.
SeMoer exceeded all our expectations, not only when we arrived to find out who the author was, whose house it is, but about the total house. The tasteful furnishings add to the nostalgia and you can't help but appreciate and experience it.
We stayed over Christmas - 5 adults and 4 dogs in the main house. Great facilities - very clean and tidy with everything we needed. Our host could not have been more helpful.
The units are truly as beautiful as the photos. The house and surrounding area are neat and picture-perfect. The bar area and pool made the hot heat wave more manageable.
Quiet, clean, cosy! And so much character! The rooms are so beautiful and one feels so at home there! Fully equipped and they have the most wonderful socializing/braai area! I will certainly visit the farm again soon, and it's so close to Pretoria and Johannesburg! Best getaway in a long time!
