They had a lot of fun playing and just wanted to stay at Settle Inn. Alfres and staff were very helpful. Kitchen was well equipped, only a dishwasher would have made it perfect. Place was spotless and provision was made for cold evenings.

It's like your home away from home. Photos are exactly as it is, fantastic. One of the best self catering places I have stayed. The pool was a hit with the kids. And it's literally just minutes away from Addo.

Apart from being located near the Matyolweni entrance, it is neat, clean, very spacious and spacious. Small pool to cool off during the extra hot days. Braai facilities available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much. We once again enjoyed our visit.

Excellent accommodation with many luxuries. Fully equipped, even a Christmas tree over Christmas. The units are very well maintained. Close to the Addo Elephant Park. Lots of activities to do in the area - sandboarding was great fun.

We were welcomed by our host Alf, who was very friendly and extremely efficient with all his instructions and in maintaining the place so that it is always in pristine condition. Everything was perfectly clean and worked well with so many extra's a traveller might require. Eg. medical kit, sewing kit, bath robes, slippers, ironing facilities and many extra kitchen utensils that were very useful. The garden was very well kept, the braai cleaned daily and the splash pool a delight in the warm weather. There was always someone on hand to assist if needed. Thanks Alf for a lovely 3 night stay while visiting Addo Elephant Park.

Well beyond expectations. Attention to detail was superb. Everything you need is there. Home from home. Alf and his team are truly wonderful. A touch of paradise right near Addo Elephant Park. We shall most certainly be back.
What a fantastic place! Alf is rightly proud of his place. This is reflected in the cleanliness in and around the place. Room is spacious can be considered as a 1 bedroom apartment. I have used 5 star accommodation but Settle Inn is above that standard especially in terms of amenities in the place. From a cheese board set to a batter mixer to the first aid kit. The most ideal place to explore from the Addo Elephant Park. We had a great time and rested even better.

The location is just a three minute drive from the lower gate of Addo. The owner always made himself available should there be inquiries, but with respect for our privacy. Extremely well equipped. Beautiful place. Nice walk on the porch. Covid-19 protocol maintained.

It was a wow moment for me. I travelled from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and the accommodation alone made it worth it. If ever I should go back to PE, Settle Inn is the first place I will seek accommodation at. The cleaning ladies were very friendly as well.
There is everything (and more) you could need. Great attention has been paid to detail. Very spacious and great pampering. We had a great time in Addo and boated on the Sondags River (which flows 50 m from the accommodation) via Addo Cruises and Sand Sledding. Observed herds of elephants and their spouts and enjoyed the beautiful birdlife along the river. The Eastern Cape is beautiful!
We were welcomed by the owner upon our arrival. He shared full information with us. We were amazed at the absolute neatness of the unit. The unit is equipped with the best equipment. There was more than enough of what visitors would need. The area is quiet and we felt completely safe during our three day stay. Many thanks to Alf Settle. He was the perfect host.
