The stay at Seven Oaks Vineyard Cottages was very peaceful and romantic for us as a couple. We had a great stay and it was exactly what we were looking for. I would happily recommend it to spouses who want to be alone or any couple who don't want to be bothered.
Also enjoyed Bosje, Botha Cellars and Du Toits Kloof Cellars.
We had a lovely stay at Seven Oaks Vineyard Cottages and the accommodation was even better than the pictures. Lovely hosts and enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting.
Patrick and Jacqui are a very good host and wife. We are constantly updated on everything of interest! Even let us know that we only needed the Sunday to book out later. Was unfortunately too cold for Turkish baths, but looks very pleasant. Wine tour on the farm is highly recommended!

Lovely weekend in a perfect cottage. It was very spacious, clean and had everything one might need for a weekend. The swimming pool was very nice in the hot weather. Would easily recommend and go back in the winter.
The pinotage cottage gave us a very good first impression, which made our stay even better. It was lovely, and quiet and was perfect to just unwind for the few days we were there. The cottages are very well equipped. All braai utensils, basic kitchen utensils, and such are all there. Shampoo and even separate towels are provided for the hot tub and shower. Totally recommend spending at least 2 days here. No TV equipped here, though the Wi-Fi makes up for it, which has a decent speed of 5mb, we could stream Netflix easily. And the best for last, no load-shedding at these cottages.
Really nice place to stay. Only complaint is the enormous amount of flies. There are catchers on it, but it's a lot of flies. Furthermore, we had a wonderful stay, very neat accommodation and friendly people.
Rural atmosphere, beautiful mountain view and farm setting. Well equipped apartment if you want to get away from civilization.
The place is so lovely. Finishing touches to everything you can think of. Loadshedding wasn't an issue. Tub ready for us on arrival. Hosts so welcoming. The wine tasting is a must. Staff are also warm, welcoming. Nothing is too much. Just a perfect weekend away. Definitely will be back! Thank you so much!

Seven Oaks is perfectly located, far enough from the tarmac that you wake up to the sound of nature but close enough that you can quickly shoot to the nearby towns. The cottage where we spent the night is perfectly laid out with an indoor and outdoor barbecue. The bed slept like in the days when you fall on your own bed and 'sag' as you rest. The place is clean and cozy. The outside braai was nice and close, the Turkish bath that warmed us with the 2nd night's sunset. Although it is the backyard of the cottage, it is the area that is windless with the pink hues of the evening sun on the mountain. Excellent place to rest and get away from the noise!
Beautiful surroundings and a beautiful cottage. Everything you need is provided, will definitely be going back more than once.
One of the most beautiful places we have ever been. Cottage is very nicely decorated and contains everything you need. Just bring your food and clothes. We took advantage of the hot tub every night until late and turned off the lights to look at the stars and moon. Bring enough wood to heat the bath in the colder months. Feel free to visit the wine tasting room within walking distance of the cottage. Your basic 5-glass wine tasting is free because you are an overnight guest of the farm. We felt safe and slept well every night. Power failure was not a problem due to the generator. It was a relaxing weekend. October for us is ideal, because the countryside is not too hot then. Thanks to Willem for stopping by on our first night and Jacqui's quick and thorough communication up to and including check-in day.
Everything was as advertised. One thing to note is that the water used in the Turkish bath gets replenished once per stay, but gets a bit fragrant after a few days. Not sure if water purification tablets would make a difference or could be allowed? The shower in the cottage is great, the toilet needs a bigger flush capacity as it takes a while to refill the cistern. Other than that, very cosy, comfortable and neat cottage, central to a few wine farms and some ziplining activities.
Jaw dropping backdrop from the wood fire hot tub. Excellent and charismatic hosts. Loved the hike on the farm with spring blossoms lighting up the horizon. We will be back more than once.
Wow what an amazing 3 nights at 7 Oaks - and woefully short! The advance communication by the owners before we checked in was welcoming and informative, we knew exactly what to expect. We were a family of 4 adults and the Merlot Cottage was spacious and perfect for the visit. The cottage's decor is amazing and Jacqui and her team have thought of absolutely everything. From the fresh flowers in the bathroom and dining room, the delicious indoor barbecue, the picnic blankets, games, extra towels for the Turkish bath, wood., wine in the fridge, delicious crunchie cookies for the coffee, everything was just simply there. And then of course the Turkish bath, indescribable. Lovely warm visit with a glass of wine on an icy winter afternoon and evening with the most beautiful view. The surroundings are beautiful and so much to do and see. We will visit again soon.

We only stayed one night en-route, and were overwhelmed with the incredible service. The house is beautiful and the farm so beautiful. The house is neat and clean, and you can see the detail that has been put into it. The children thoroughly enjoyed the 'Turkish woodfire bath'! We will definitely come again if we have the opportunity.

Seven Oaks Vineyard cottages provided a wonderful weekend getaway. The accommodation is very beautiful and the views are breathtaking.
It truly is a phenomenal place, so clean and neat. We enjoyed our time there so much. It's peaceful with the beautiful nature around you, will recommend it anytime.
We rented 2 units (Pinotage & Malbec). Both units were very neat and clean. The units are also very well equipped with an indoor and outdoor barbecue. There are delicious wine farms nearby and the farm itself is very quiet. We really enjoyed it and look forward to our next visit to Seven Oaks. This was our 2nd time.
We rented two units, Malbec & Pinotage. The units are basically identical. Both were quite equipped, very neat and very clean. Jacqui and her team are fantastic and made sure we really enjoyed our weekend there! There are a lot of little details that they add that make this destination very special. We will be back for sure!
