It was a bit of a ride to the Guesthouse, but what lovely views. smoothest gravel roads I have ever traveled. The place was cozy and clean. Loved the shower.
Comfortable accommodation and very friendly welcome by owners. The silence and fresh air and farm sounds are a winning recipe.
House was clean and tidy.
It's a nice place to stop if you're driving around to explore the area or passing through on your way somewhere. It just bothers a little that everything is used to make money, e.g. the wood. Feel free to use their meat packs if you would like to barbecue, I have yet to find a tastier sausage. A nice stoepie with a table and seating would be nice if you wanted to sit outside to watch a beautiful late afternoon thunderstorm or sunset.
Withoek is very neat, well equipped.
While this rustic farmhouse has four bedrooms (sleeps eight comfortably) there is only one bathroom which could be a drawback for large groups. The huge hearth, the Elandskloof 4x4 track (Grade 3) and walks around the farm were highlights for us.
Large farmhouse with all amenities available. Relax under a large shade tree and braai a Karoolam rib or braai indoors. Travel from there through Seweweekspoort Cape Town and experience the greatness of the Creator.
The scenery is incredible. Friendly reception with warm home-baked bread with farm butter and jam. Wood also provided. Safe and clean place to stay. Would love to visit again and stay longer.

It was the most fantastic weekend, all the essentials were there, beds very nice and comfortable, juicy tasty lamb, baked bread and farm sausage also for sale, absolutely great service, appreciate it.
This accommodation is not in Laingsburg (as the website states). It was 65 km outside Laingsburg and if it had been so indicated, we would not have slept there, but would have looked for another place. Such a 130 km long turn can catch one quite unaware. However, the accommodation was very good and the customer service from the owners was excellent. So, if you are not passing through on your way to Cape Town via the N1, but would like to "explore" a little more of the Karoo, this is the place for you!
