The house can accommodate 10 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a guest toilet, of which 2 bedrooms are separate from the house, with their own entrance and en-suite bathrooms.
The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with double basins, a shower and toilet. The second bedroom is also furnished with a queen-size bed and the third bedroom with two single beds. These two bedrooms share a modern bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. A separate guest toilet is available. Amenities include a ceiling fan.
The two guest bedrooms, separate from the house, are ideal for teenagers or couples. Both bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. One of the guest bedrooms also has tea- and coffee-making facilities, so guests don’t have to go to the kitchen. The room also has a ceiling fan.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped for self catering with a dishwasher, stove, microwave and fridge, and there is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. An air fryer and ice maker is also provided, with an additional fridge and a chest freezer.
From the front door, a few steps leads into the spacious open plan lounge and dining area, furnished with stylish furniture and a flat screen TV, as well as unlimited Wi-Fi. A small desk is also provided in case guests need to work or study.
There is a large covered patio with outdoor furniture, a swimming pool with a safety cover, and an outside shower to wash off sand when guests come from the beach. There is a built-in braai and firepit, as well as a gas braai on the patio, with a pizza oven and paella grill. Alternatively a Weber braai is also available, should guests prefer to make use of it.
The house has an alarm system and a double automated garage, able to fit only one vehicle, since a pool table and table tennis are available in the garage for guests’ entertainment. However, there is sufficient parking on the driveway, behind the automated gate, for extra vehicles. The house has plumbed in water tanks as well as a solar system for backup power supply.

. An unforgettable stay - pure perfection! From the moment I arrived at Shad Shack, I knew I was in for something special. The attention to detail and the breathtaking ambiance made this stay truly unforgettable. The room was immaculate, with luxurious touches that exceeded all expectations – from the plush bedding to the thoughtfully curated decor, everything was designed for absolute comfort and style. The location was a dream – peaceful, scenic, and yet conveniently close to all the major attractions. Waking up to stunning views (private entrance to an amazing beach) every morning was the highlight of my trip. I cannot recommend Shad Shack enough! It’s not just a place to stay, but an experience in itself. If you're looking for a place where luxury meets comfort and impeccable service, this is it. I’ll definitely be returning!

House rules
A refundable breakage deposit is required per booking, which will be refunded within 7 working days of guest's departure, provided the unit is left in the same condition as upon arrival and that all is in order.Please report any discrepancies or damages in the unit to the office within 12 working hours.
The unit is strictly non-smoking and guests are required to smoke outside. Failure to comply could result in the forfeiture of the deposit in order to steam clean curtains, carpets and furniture.
Should the property manager find that there are more guests staying in the unit than quoted on; or that the number exceeds the total allowed capacity; the deposit will be forfeited.
Small pets are allowed by prior arrangement only.
All linen is provided, however guests will have to bring along their own bath and swimming towels.
A complimentary toilet paper and guest soap is provided, but because this unit is self-catering this must be replenished at the guest's own cost. Please also remember to bring along dishwashing liquid and other cleaning materials.
Cleaning services can be arranged between 8h30 to 14h30, excluding week-ends and public holidays. This must please be booked through the office at least 48 hours in advance and must be paid upfront and not directly to the cleaner. Please also note that this service is subject to availability of resources, especially during peak seasons.
Provision is made for little ones, with a cot and a feeding chair provided, in case guests will need it.
