We had a great stay at Shady Oak. The house is located literally around the corner from the town square and can therefore be easily explored on foot without worrying about parking during busy times. The braai on the large veranda overlooking the valley is wonderful and the fireplaces (and warm blankets) along with a glass of red wine and good company certainly helped to ward off the cold!
