What an incredible time we had in the house. 100% Set up for loadshedding. Everything one needs, of the best quality, was available here. We even got flowers, wine, fruit, chocolates and cookies when we checked in.
Paternoster is picture perfect, and the accommodation is the right place to make everything perfect.

We loved Shalom. It's clear that someone has gone to some trouble to make sure. that everything one might need is available. Our only regret was that there were no thin pillows on the beds, for those that don't like to sleep on huge pillows.

We absolutely loved this little house and to be able to take our dog without any hassle was such a bonus. Its beautiful and clean, spacious with a really nice outside area and braai. The deck leading from the main bedroom upstairs is just amazing for views and a sundowner. We loved it.
Well-equipped self-catering accommodation. Paternoster offers a variety of activities, don't miss the Koelkamer Theatre.
We could not get the security gate at the front door locked. There was one dinner plate too few and the glass of the bookshelf was cracked and taped. The toilet seats moved around.

Shalom was really surprising. We had a wonderful time in the spacious house, which is exceptionally well equipped. It is so close to the beach that our difficult walkers could walk down to the sea by themselves. I will definitely use Shalom again and can recommend it. The delicious complimentary basket was also a surprise. The deposit of R1000 was also refunded within a day or two. Thank you.

It exceeded all our expectations! The house was equipped with everything you can think of plus a full DStv package and WiFi! Few steps from the beach with amazing views.
I was very pleased with the warm feel on arrival and the beautiful setting of the location of the home. The bottled water, wine and chocolate added a lovely touch to our arrival. The Shalom home is one of the best equipped homes from the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and linens. We have visited quite a few accommodations in the are and Shalom is once of our favorites thus far and I would I would highly recommend it to any persons.
There is nothing better than going to bed with the sound of sea and when you wake up, to see, hear and smell the sea. The house is well planned, with the braai area well sheltered from the wind and a beautiful sea view. The house is well located, beautiful and very well equipped. We really enjoyed our visit and hope that we will be able to go back soon.

Shalom is an incredibly nice holiday home with an excellent location, a beautiful view of the sea and a very well-equipped kitchen. The linen and towels are crisp and pure white! The house is painfully neat and just a pleasure to unpack and rest in! The outdoor patio and braai is the ideal place to hang out with family and friends and the garden and ring wall around a bonus to keep restless toddlers or a small dog safe. We will definitely come again!

Shalom is very well located and close to the beach. The house is great and very well equipped. The house was clean and tidy and the customer service was great. TV stopped working and it was fixed immediately. The beds were comfortable and the blankets were cozy. I would recommend this place to anyone. If I could mention one constructive comment, it would be to have a tumble dryer available. Towels don't dry quickly, especially at this time of year. This is not a necessity, but only a suggestion. We really enjoyed the time.
We had a very nice stay. Close enough to the sea to see and hear it and go for a quick walk on the beach. Everything was nice and clean. Although we didn't stay long enough to use it I think it's great that there is a cupboard with reading books and DVDs in it. Magazines are also in drawers everywhere and you really don't need to bring anything with you. Even hairdryers were there and bonus was the WiFi!
Neat home with a beautiful view. The house has everything and is fully equipped for a wonderful holiday. The biggest bonus is that your pets are welcome, which is why I will visit often. Only negative is that there is no light in the braai, but that's all.
We stayed with our children from Australia for three days at Shalom. Everything was great. The people who come to complain about food and money remain a problem. We still had a good time. Great for a family.
Only washing machine is not allowed to be used.

House rules
The balance is payable 7 days prior to arrival.No check-ins are or check outs offered on Good Friday, Christmas Day or New Year's Day.
Shalom is pet friendly. A non-refundable pet deposit of R300 per pet is payable with the balance 7 days before arrival.
Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
Minimum stay required:
2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
7 nights in high season
Guests must first visit our offices to check in and get their keys.
When entering Paternoster, turn left at the four-way stop. The 'Stay in Paternoster' office is situated about 75m further, on the right-hand side of the road, at 87 St. Augustine Road.
