20 guests' feedbackThe only issue we had was with our towels. We only received 1 towel in our twin room, and in the double room, the towel was taken by the cleaning staff but not replaced.
Hospitality reception at very short notice.
Needs a serious cleaning. Used bits of soap in the shower, floor needs a thorough scrubbing.
Was in Cradock for athletics.
We had a wonderful stay, first in the house itself and then in the apartment, both were wonderful.
I stayed at Shalom Lodge during the SAPPA annual meeting. It is located across the conference hall and thus fulfils 100% of my needs.
The pictures on the internet are truly deceiving. I really think that the little room I had to stay in was really not worth R500. I can't compare it to accommodation in the Cape at R500 per person. Sorry, but I honestly wouldn't recommend people, especially single people. It was close to the athletics track where I needed to be, but not to a very good standard in my opinion. I was able to park safely inside. Thanks for that. The night was otherwise peaceful with no disturbances.
The pictures on the internet are deceiving. Parking space is scarce. Rooms are shabby. Water overflows sidewalks, difficult to walk in and out of premises.

It was a pleasant overnight stay with everything we needed!
The accommodation is neat and well located and the staff are friendly and helpful. The self-catering units' kitchen is extremely small and lacks a plate stove/oven with which you can cook food - at the stage there is only a barbecue outside, a microwave and a fridge, the dining area is also only outside. If the weather is bad there is no suitable place to cook food or to sit and eat. Lodge was very accommodating in that we could use the main kitchen and indoor facilities to have a covered dining area but the whole purpose of "self-catering" was discussed to already have the facilities at your disposal, in my opinion the self-catering units do not qualify as self-care. Breakfast that lodge offers is delicious! Thank you very much for a nice break.

Kitchen very little small and not much space to move, luckily we were only there for 2 nights.
Neat, friendly and the room and guest house are very clean.
Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds and tasteful decoration. Nice to have an air conditioner when it's freezing cold.
The rooms are very comfortably furnished. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast.
The TV didn't work. We had no hot water. Apparently breakfast was not included in the amount, but the owner said she would give it to us. We arranged breakfast for 7:00, but at 7:30 there was still no one available to serve us breakfast.
Good accommodation despite some problems with the breakfast.
A very special place to relax after long trip.
Parking space is scarce and could, if possible, be increased.
