This elegant lodge accommodates up to 15 guests in 5 bedrooms and features modern decor and amenities. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. There are 2 bedrooms with access to a loft, which are furnished respectively with a king-size bed and twin single beds in the loft. The fifth bedroom, located in another loft area, contains 3 single beds. 4 of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower and a bath, while the fifth bathroom is separate, fitted only with a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, kettle, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher. 6 guests' feedbackWe had a great stay and were disappointed to leave. It was a special week with parents, in-laws, brothers and sisters present.
Shammah Lodge's layout with large living areas, large kitchen, swimming pool and boma is ideal for a nice visit with family, friends or relatives. The bathrooms and rooms are also beautiful and the rooms have nice views.

We had a fantastic weekend at Shammah Lodge. The lodge is very luxurious and the facilities have been fantastic, the highlight is for sure the pool and boma area. We also made use of the pizza oven, and made the most delicious homemade restaurant quality pizzas. The house and its facilities are in very good condition and everything was clean and of good quality. The only negative aspect of the weekend was that the one outside room/chalet's air con didn't work, and it's terribly hot, so no one could sleep in that room, which was quite a disadvantage because we paid for it, but in reality we could not have used that room in any way, unfortunately it was just hopelessly too hot to use that room at all without an air con, the weekend's weather was between 36 and 39 degrees. That's why we feel that we were somewhat put off by the price because it worked out to about R2000 per person, but we had to pay for one room that we didn't use at the end of the day in which two people could sleep - that's a total of R4000. Having said that, we would definitely recommend Shammah Lodge, but all the amenities in all the rooms should be as advertised.
