Kingsburgh has many great attractions in and around the area, including the Amanzimtoti Golf Club, the Ilanda Wilds Reserve and the Pipeline Coastal Park. Oribi Gorge is about an 1hr's drive and uShaka a 25 minute drive.

One member in our family managed to write an honours exam while there. Peaceful and quiet and very near shops, Seadoone mall as well as Winklespruit.

A beautiful getaway. The apartment is exceptionally clean and has all the amenities including a dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine and enough cutlery and crockery. Very comfortable with superb views.

The apartment was a great space for our group of 5. I really liked the open plan aspect and having two bathrooms. More than adequate crockery/cookware. Fridge freezer not very powerful but okay for what we wanted. Pillows did not have protectors on and had light mould on some and stains on others. Mattresses didn’t have protective covers on either. Good supply of towels and airing equipment. Few cracked floor tiles and didn't find some areas very clean. Particularly bathrooms. The view of the gorgeous stretch of beach was fabulous but we felt unsafe in many areas. This is possibly more due to us not knowing the area and how much it has changed. I do feel we should have been informed about the load sharing issue over there as we had a teenager on crutches. There is not much information to help you on the area and best places to go. I felt communication, responses to emails etc. was not very good.
We were received very kindly. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the view fantastic and the fact that there is a washing machine and tumble dryer is a big plus point. If we get the opportunity to break away again, we will definitely book the apartment again if it is available.

Apon check in i had 19 people checking in ro different apartments in shangri la and only 4 adults and 2 children were booked in this apartment without understanding what was going on charlott assumed all 19 people were staying in her apartment..how possible is that she was very rude and shouting at us even when we teies ro explain to her what was going on.....i felt that this was unacceptable as the was no noice and everybody went to their rooms quetly.....she kept on threatening us thAt she is cancelling our booking.....Thanks to frans and the travelground agent who assisted as as we were treated like animals by Charlotte.....we got lost and she ddnt make things easy for us.....horrible experience. "I am so over this booking and will never accept a booking from you again!" charlott
