Accommodation is offered in 2 units in the main house, and a third unit in a separate rondawel. Each unit has its own private bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. 2 of the units have their own fridge and microwave.
Guests are welcome to make use of the communal main house open-plan fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge area with fireplace. This opens to a large stoep with seating and braai facilities, the ideal place to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon beer.
Bring your mountain bikes and explore the many farm roads. Hike the surrounding mountains, view some historical Bushman paintings or take a leisurely stroll around the dam. The Pot River which runs through the farm is a mere 600 m from the Main House, ideal for tubing and swimming.
It also supports a very healthy stock of wild rainbow trout. There are a variety of options to fish, from narrow deep pools to wide slow meandering sections, to the exiting riffles and rapids where nymph fishing can be highly rewarding. River access is easy on foot and there are roads to various upstream and downstream sections.
The farm is conveniently situated close to some of the highest altitude gravel passes of the Eastern Cape Highlands which are any 4x4 enthusiast or motorbiker's dream.

22 guests' feedbackWe like to stay out of town and this was an ideal place in the country. The gravel road to the property was being graded so there were no issues, but it could be a problem in wet weather if you are in a normal car. Everything that you could want for an overnight stay is there.
We enjoyed our stay there. We were camping for a night, and had a quick cycle with our mountain bikes. Nice view.
My stay was very pleasant, the location is beautiful and the service excellent.
Excellent accommodation and a very hospitable hostess. Guests should plan on staying longer than just overnight. We stayed 2 nights, but could easily have stayed for 4. Thank you very much for recommending this guest farm, in an area where there are few options.
It was my first time at that place and I enjoyed myself and my soul mate incredibly much, thank you very much.
The reception was warm and very welcoming. Our host was very friendly, and the place was very neat and beautiful.
Very peaceful and beautiful. Kind and friendly host.
Lovely and scenic setting with awesome mountain views. Host was super friendly and accommodating. Facilities were spot on with an amazing open plan communal area, with seating area and braai, etc. Would definitely recommend!
Loved it. It was a very interesting place off the beaten track. Very peaceful. Would have liked to stay longer to explore the area.
Sandra was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time in a beautifu setting.
The host made us very welcome. It was a little awkward sharing the kitchen facilities with the owner, but it was still a very pleasant stay over.
We overnighted as part of a long trip. The accommodation is great. The location is beautiful and quiet. The host Candice goes out of her way to make you comfortable. We stayed in the rondawel and she brought us chairs, a braai, wood, a grid and everyhing else we needed. Fresh farm milk rounded off the morning coffee. Definitely to be recommended.
Candice is a great host. The Pot River fishes well and is very beautiful.
What a beautiful spot. Candice is an amazing host and we had such fun exploring the trails on the farm and catching trout in the river. The most amazing cave paintings, idyllic landscapes, birds, and wildlife galore made it an unforgettable stay. Thanks too for the impromptu wedding anniversary party, Candice. Guests need to stay a few days to really appreciate the beauty of the place. Will most definitely be back.
Great overnight stay, very cozy and Candice is a very attentive host with great communication.
Candice is a super hostess. Very friendly, chatty and helpful. We were going to leave early, but over breakfast had a super chat and only left at about 10. Luckily we were close enough to home to get there in the afternoon.
Candice was an exceptional host, making us feel part of her family. Her pickled cucumber is to die for! Would've loved to have stayed longer. Looking forward to going back there.
Our only qualm was that the fireplace was very smokey. Other than that, the place could not be faulted.
See stars.
Was clean and comfortable. Some construction going on but will be improved as a result with a great braai room.
An excellent host and the most comfortable accommodation made the stay feel like a home from home.
Lovely place to stay.
