Sherewood Lodge can accommodate 40 delegates in our well appointed conference room. We also have a exquisite 50 seater venue that is ideal for small intimate and romantic functions or weddings. Furthermore we have a wonderful boma area where you can relax under the stars.
Although being nestled within the green landscapes of Shere, the lodge is conveniently close to shopping centre's, hospitals, golf courses & tourist attractions .
The lodge is conveniently close to the N1 and N4, offering easy access to the bigger Pretoria area, the urban hub of Johannesburg and OR Tambo International Airport.

25 guests' feedbackWe had a great stay and had a great time. The garden and entire setup is out of the books. Had a great meal at the restaurant.
Would have liked an extra warm blanket - there were none in the cupboards. Breakfast was very pleasant, and included in the price. Maybe put more than 1 bag of milk per guest in the room at the coffee station for the guests - the milk is really very little, and only allows 1 cup per guest. I like a coffee when I get into bed, and again in the morning when I wake up.
It was very comfortable, neat, clean!
The unit's hot tub is not working.
Very friendly service. Rooms were spacious and tidy. Linens were luxurious. Large play area for children. Boma braai area. Close to the wedding venues and easily visible. Very nice and quiet.

The gas geysers are unpleasant. Either you burn or you freeze from the cold. Rooms are much smaller than expected and they are very close to each other, you hear all the noise from the people next to you. Prices are too expensive for what you get. Breakfast was very nice but very little, and they only serve coffee and tea, no juice or water etc. where you can help yourself. If they adjust the prices, many more people will sleep over.

The beautiful garden makes you relax and feel at home upon arrival, the room was neat and warm and the welcome warm.
We really enjoyed staying at Sherewood Lodge! It is very well situated close to shops and yet it feels like you are completely out of the city with the lush garden. Corrie and the rest of the staff were very friendly. The room was lovely, as was the swimming pool. Breakfast was really a lovely treat! I would definitely recommend the lodge, and come stay again.

Very neat place, lovely and relaxed atmosphere, rooms well equipped, very comfortable place to sleep, ideal for a break or sleepover after a function. Breakfast was pleasant with a nice variety.
The place's showers only have two temperatures: boiling hot or freezing cold. It doesn't work at all and therefore I cannot recommend this place. Ensure your showers are fine, then everything will be 100%.

Only a few minutes drive away from the house is the little gem in the middle of the forest. The service was excellent and the accommodation was incredibly neat and comfortable. Wish the weather was a little warmer so we could use the pool too. We got delicious omelettes for breakfast, so you shouldn't expect a buffet breakfast... but it was more than enough and very tasty! Best quick getaway I've taken all year!

This is a beautiful lodge, very quiet and peaceful, with lots of attention to detail in the rooms, and heavenly beds! Food was a bit scarce. But we will definitely go again!
Although I had a very nice stay, the WiFi was out of order; i really need it when i travel. I inquired about this a few times but by the last day it was still down.
It's a little gem in the heart of the city. The service is excellent. The hospitality is excellent. The units are stylish and very tasteful and look like paradise in the evening with the lights.

Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast!
The room was a bit small for the price we paid. There was no hairdryer in the room. Other than that, it was very pleasant.
