The chalet has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 fridge-freezers, a gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery, as well as a washing machine, tumble dryer and a dining area with seating for 8. The spacious living area has comfortable seating, a combustion fireplace, and a Smart TV.
Aluminium folding doors open onto an entertainment area, including a covered patio with uninterrupted mountain and dam views, a dining area, sun loungers, braai facilities, a newly-fitted pizza oven, Jacuzzi and a firepit under the stars.
The estate boasts a pool, restaurant and bar, hiking trails and fishing opportunities. The cottage is also only 10 minutes from golf courses, canopy tours, a spa, restaurants and shopping outlets, beer and chocolate tastings, river rafting, quad biking, horse riding and helicopter rides.

Absolutely awesome. Just love this very special place in the Berg! Could not ask for a better spot to catch up with friends, relax and soak up some much needed Berg air! Hosts were amazing and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Shiloh Cottage has everything you need for an amazing weekend away! The house itself is very neat and clean, with plenty of open space. The views of the mountain are incredible from morning to evening. It is located very close to the most beautiful hikes and many other attractions. It is a peaceful jewel of a house and recommended for all who need to break away from the hustle of city life!

Justine was an amazing host, very attentive and always willing to help. The place is very well equipped. The pictures do not and cannot do the views justice. Shiloh Cottage has one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen and is very tranquil. This place has such great value for money and this won't be our last visit.

Our family spent a wonderful mid-winter break at Shiloh Cottage and found it perfectly located and thoughtfully curated to satisfy nature-lovers (wanting accessible waterfall visits and walks in the mountains) who also like to come back to the comforts of a cozy cottage with all the modern conveniences! We enjoyed the silence broken only by birdsong and the spectacular views. Making our own pizza in the pizza oven and family movies by the fire were fun too. We've stayed in numerous catered and self-catered accommodations in this part of the berg and would rate Shiloh Cottage as one of our best stays yet!
We were not provided with toilet papers. One of the guests needed to use the bathroom urgently, only to find out that there were no toilet papers, which was very disappointing. The jacuzzi was not heating up. It was reported to the owner, but he could not come and fix it until we checked out. Otherwise, the place was nice and clean, and the location is great.
Comfortable home, clean and had everything we required. Great stay!
Beautiful location. Toilets and taps dripping - this is annoying while trying to sleep at night. A coffee machine is suggested.
