I would go back anytime and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Vryheid. Service is excellent, breakfast was out of the books, and it was an exceptional experience.

Ons het vooraf reëlings getref om vroeër in te boek, en is gesê dat hulle seker sal maak ons drie kamers is reg. Dit het nie gebeur nie. Ons kamer het net een koffie gehad en ons ouers se kamer het glad nie handdoeke gehad nie. Ek dink regtig, aangesien die water nie drinkbaar is nie, en vir die prys wat ons betaal het, dat hulle 'n bottel water in die kamer kon gesit het.

All negatives are that the room was not ready on arrival.
There was no toilet door, the airconditioning took 3 hours to warm the room so it obviously needs regassing, the hot water tap was broken so water ran all night, the clothes cupboard was a mess, there were no rugs on the cold tiles and the parking was inadequate. We felt like we were given the worst room in the establishment! It is advertised that you can check-in from 14:00. We arrived at 14:30 only to find the room was not yet cleaned and the beds were unmade. We had to leave and kill time until we could return to a clean room later on.
Satisfied with the stay there.
Unfortunately, we found half-eaten food from people that previously stayed under one of the single beds when we moved it closer to the big bed. The fridge was also dirty inside.
We sustained damage to our vehicle on the side of the road that needed to be repaired. On top of the delicious accommodation and breakfast, the staff went out of their way to help us get back on the road. You are excellent, once again thank you very much!
