23 guests' feedbackThe TV is too old doesnt play clear it makes funny noise,the is no fridge. The place was very dirty even window seals has tree roots,headboards lots of dust. i will never refer anyone else.
I suggest that maybe just looking at placing a small fridge in each room and that provision is made for an area in the garden where you can make a small fire if you want to sit there and visit in the evenings .
I was because the eye surgery blind and could not see anything. We were offered another room that was closer to the transport to facilitate my movement, so the necessary sympathy is there. My wife just says that the environment is not that nice in the sense that there are a lot of people sitting around which bothered her. Otherwise it was pretty clean and tidy.
On arrival no one opens the gate or answers phones. Had to wait outside for half an hour until someone noticed there were guests. The sinks were clogged and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. Geyser outside our rooms made noise all night - barely batted an eye. On check out had to find someone again to hand over keys and open the gate for us - no staff at the reception area.
We stayed overnight at Sidze, the staff is friendly but our room was too dark and had cockroaches all over the place, needs to be maintained. The picture does not match what you see when you get there.
Revolting. I get that it's cheap, but to my opinion it doesn't even deserve the one star it has. The doors don't close properly. The toilet seat was broken. The bathroom curtains not properly hung. No towels in the bathroom. Nobody to report this to. The cups and saucers didn't even match. The bedding and blankets smelled bad. After a long day on the road and next to the rugby field this did not turn out to be a good night's rest. Poor service!
I will recommend to our clients and friends as we are a travel agents.

Not a place I would normally choose, but we had to stop at Sidze due to car trouble. We were treated like kings by the friendly staff and left in high spirits.
I did not enjoy the place at all. The Area is unsafe, and it's across the street from a hangout or something. Never again!
The curtains let the light into the room the whole night, everything is old in the bathroom.
Was met by the gardener whom did not know what was going on - poor gardener! It looked as if the door was kicked off at the room I was placed in. The light switch did not exist and the lights consist only of one bulb. The window was broken and the finishings is not suitable. Don't know who will pay this amount for such accommodation!
The people in Sidze Guest house where very helpful and friendly. Our stay there was very nice.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, but we were disappointed that it didn't look like the pictures. Our bathroom light didn't work either. They did provide us with a light that worked on batteries.
The guest house has a lot of potential. On the surface it is neat and the staff is very friendly. However, the room we stayed in is substandard. The floor tiles are broken and the bathroom looks like it has recently been half-repaired and it creates an unhygienic feeling. It's not value for money because we often stay in guest houses and know what it costs. I would recommend the place provided the rooms and bathrooms are completely upgraded.
Not recommendable at all. The rooms had mildew odour and no hot water in the evening.
I received warm hospitality and good breakfast. The only negative remark is the TV that was programmed on one channel.
Nothing was working in the guest house. Their service was very poor. Things that were not working included the aircon and geyser. Polokwane is very hot and therefore one expects an essential thing as the aircon to work. Geyser was not working so we could not take a shower. We were locked out of the house because we were given the wrong key.
