It was pleasant, but a few things could have been better. There was no remote control for the air conditioning, and the Netflix wasn't working, but the host sorted it out.
DStv very poor as it has to be streamed. Still waiting for breakfast. Was arranged for 07h00. Left for airport 07h15 after there was no movement or any person to let know where breakfast is. Will probably never get back the value of breakfast that was paid either.
No channel on TV working, DStv taken out of one room after 1st night. No option of how breakfast should be cooked. We paid for the honeymoon suite, but got a regular room.
Accommodation was satisfactory except for the 1 room air conditioner which did not have a remote control. Couldn't get much sleep with the heat.
The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Beautiful, serene views. Lovely to walk on the golf course in the early morning. There was no soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. Requested soap, but never received.
But the person on duty was not aware of the rooms as we booked them and then suggested another option. Just a few things to consider: The cars can be quite noisy in the evening and early morning during the week, on Saturday it wasn't a problem at all. I think the towels could be replaced. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay.

If it is a wedding couple's one special night, it would be very sad. The included breakfast only consists of 2 slices of bread in a bowl and butter in the fridge, and breakfast porridge in a small bottle that was placed in the room ahead of time. I received no service and struggled to get the gate code to move in and out.
The host was unsure of the time we would be able to enter the rooms (despite check-in and check-out times as shown on the profile). The family room that was booked has been given to someone else who has been living there for 2 months. Furthermore, the rooms did not have enough "extras" - for example, for 2 people there was only 1 yogurt in the fridge. The house is wonderfully large and there is plenty of space and everything you would need in every room, but the house is tired and looks like the maintenance has fallen behind. Furthermore, we had to hear that the host did not know about the children on the reservation and did not provide them with breakfast. Those of us who did get breakfast enjoyed it. The last straw - which was beyond the control of the host - was the water supply of the whole of Pretoria which was cut off. There were good moments too - when my wife's dress needed to be ironed the maid took it upon herself, and when the water was off they brought us buckets of water from the pool. Unfortunately it just wasn't a good experience for the price we paid. We expected much more from such a "fancy" unit.

We slept well thank you. We booked the luxury suite with a B&B and we didn't get breakfast, we were under the impression that we would get bacon and eggs. There was only bread and juice in the fridge and cornflakes. I feel what I paid for, it didn't make it fair. We were in room 3, the sink only had hot water we taped ourselves just to brush teeth. The shower head is too low, my husband could not shower. The aircon is not very clean and took a while to cool down.
There was no one to receive us. There was no customer service. Although the price includes breakfast, there was no breakfast available and no one to inquire about. The room was not clean. Overall, very disappointing.

Not only is it super safe, but absolutely gorgeous. Our reception was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. I initially did not get the room I booked, but the owner explained what happened. He felt very bad about giving me another room, but it was really circumstances beyond his control. The room I did get was beautiful, clean and very well appointed. It had a microwave, kettle, coffee, tea, sugar and milk as well as all cutlery. What's cool is that breakfast is served inside your room, the room has a table and chairs and breakfast can also be served on the balcony. I would definitely stay here again.
My husband and son were terribly impressed with the hospitality of the host, as well as the comfort of the restaurant that was available to them. The only disappointment was the fact that they did not have WiFi available to them, as indicated.

We were in the area for a wedding, so we spent little time there. We prepared there for the wedding and stayed the night late that night. The facilities were clean and tidy, getting in and out of the estate was smooth and easy. The manager or owner was very friendly.
Had a great time, environment is safe and the breakfast we got in the room was out of the books.
I needed a night of peace and quiet. From reception it was warm and helpful. Sorry about the traffic that started to get noisy already early in the morning. But my stay was a positive experience.

Every morning breakfast in the room was really fantastic and every morning was a different type of breakfast, and always delivered by Oom Piet with a smile. We always look forward to staying at Silver Lakes because we know the area and lifestyle. We usually stay at Villa la Vie but the smoke smell in the rooms wasn't nice. So we tried Silver Palms. We were hastily received and taken to a renovated double garage room outside the house. It was threadbare, especially the bathroom, to say the least. It was completely lacking in character, but very clean. Breakast was served in our room on cold plates. My husband felt I shouldn't say anything and just never go there again, but that didn't feel right to me. We stayed in Potch this weekend and it was excellent, for half the price.
Wow, Silver Palms was 'n fees!
Our stay at the Silver Pals was excellent. We were kindly received and the facilities were shown to us. The room has all the necessary facilities and equipment that give it a very convenient self-catering touch.
