Simbonga boasts free-roaming wildlife throughout the entire game reserve including the ability for them to walk right up to your accommodation. Guests can enjoy activities like hiking, mountain biking and swimming on the farm, depending on water restrictions.
The game reserve offers majestic mountain views and wide open plains filled with zebra, giraffe, impala, wildebeest, blesbok and various other antelope species.
Simbonga Game Reserve and Sanctuary is also home to the Warriors of Wildlife Sanctuary which houses rescued big cats.

15 guests' feedbackIt was a first for us and we really enjoyed the compact glamping. The teepee was a bit challenging but slept like a baby.
Fantastic location. Incredibly attentive hosts. Absolutely breathtaking view from the family units.
Loved the stay in the teepee in front of the waterhole. So many wildlife to see. Lions weren't shy to roar at all.
So peaceful, animals near the tented camp and going to sleep listening to the lions. All in all a wonderful experience. Lauren is so extremely passionate about her work.
The hostess is very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. We could drive around the farm on our own and look for animals and birds. The free tour of the lions was very informative. These people even helped us change our car's tire when we discovered it was flat.
Just a suggestion, the roads on the farm need some work, maybe drag a tyre and cut back some bush, it was very tricky driving around the farm, you definitely need a 4x 4 vehicle.

Accommodation was very well prepared/ stocked for our visit! Wood supplied for the hot tub as well as the fire lighters! Accommodation is very private with the game walking right in front of the tent! Lovely and peaceful! Will definitely be coming for a second visit!
Quiet and relaxing with the most beautiful view.
Dit was n ongelooflike plek om by te bly - die gasvryheid van eienaars was ongelooflik en die kamers is baie goed ingerig asook die kombuis. As jy lekker wegbreek wil hê, is dit die plek om te besoek.
All facilities were good, we had a lot of fun hanging out around the fire, and there was plenty of firewood. It was quite cold at night but our beds had plenty of blankets. Would love to visit here again.
Good accommodation and very peaceful which is nice and close to Jeffreys. Price a bit expensive for the amenities you get. Amenities can be upgraded a bit, such as cupboards in the kitchen, as well as hanging cupboards in the room or more storage space. The cooking pans and pots could also be better quality. Would still recommend it to those who worry too much about good amenities.
We loved this place, just brilliant. I am going back soon.
Our time at the farm was absolutely wonderful. Had the most beautiful animals, sunsets and family time. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We have absolutely nothing negative to say, but would just like to mention that a toaster, sharp knives and 1 pot for the gas stove would be really great to add to the kitchenware. We will be back for sure. Thanks again!
