The lodge sleeps up to 12 guests. This fully furnished house comprises 5 air-conditioned bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms are equipped with a double bed, and the fifth room has 3 single beds. All of the bathrooms feature a shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a gas stove and an oven, an ice machine, a water dispenser and a water purifier, an induction plate as well as crockery and cutlery.
The lounge has a Smart TV and Netflix and opens onto a spacious patio where there is a braai area and a splash pool. The top floor of the house also features a wooden deck area. Simcha Lodge has a backup generator for plugs lights and fridges as well as a 5000l water tank for times when the electricity goes out. There is also WiFi available.
There is parking available in front of the house for vehicles. Simcha Lodge is a drive from a variety of restaurants, a few shops, a spa and a petrol station, a hardware and a bottle store within the town.
Please note that there is a small independent cottage next to the main house that also gets rented out and may be occupied from time to time. This is not included in the booking when booking for Simcha Lodge.

19 guests' feedbackIt was amazing. The price is reasonable, the service marvellous, not to mention the location. We didn't have to bring anything as everything in the kitchen was provided. We even had games provided for us. Amazing for the price.
We were missing some dish towels and the Wi-Fi was on but not working. Otherwise very comfortable, with good beds nice location.
Had a great time. The kitchen is a little small, but we managed. Lovely home for a large group of people! Thank you Simcha Lodge, we will definitely see you again.
Trouble with showers. If you turn on cold water with hot water, the water becomes cold. Furthermore, we had a very nice stay. Thank you very much.
Visited with my 3 children, their spouses and kids. Extremely convenient. We were 12 people and each family had their own space. Had a great time around the braai. The large pantry is a plus. There is everything one needs. Loadshedding didn't even bother. Kids enjoyed the animals, splash pool and wi-fi. We will definitely go again. Well done to the owner.

Very nice and tidy house, with all the necessary facilities, house is often visited by a lot of wildlife, was perfect for our large group of people.
Not very elderly-person-friendly. Stairs to house very steep and difficult for the old people to get up and down. One of the geysers did not work but someone was called immediately who quickly repaired it. Had a lot of power outages but that's probably due to the heavy weather. The owner can spend a little on maintenance for refurbishing fly screen, door locks etc. Overall it was very nice and will visit again.

The house is not at all the same as they advertise on the website. The house was divided in two by a wall, which meant there were people directly next to us peeking over the wall. We were under the impression we had the house to ourselves as well as the built-in braai. The fridge, swimming pool and some of the cutlery were dirty, one pot burnt black. Master bedroom downstairs, no remote for air conditioning! Very, very few animals visited the place. Sorry we were very disappointed in Simcha Lodge.
Thanks facilities were great - little storage space in the kitchen but we were able to make a plan.
We were a large group of people and there was more than enough space for everyone. The house was neat and clean. The environment is very peaceful and you can relax. Many animals visit the house during the day. We will definitely see you again!

Really value for money, a good stopover for visiting Wildtuin.
This was a comfortable stay over. Can be recommended to visitors who wish to visit the Kruger National Park. I suggested bedside lamps for readers as the power saving ceiling lights do not supply enough light and had to be switched off at the door. Thank you for your friendly service.

Daily cleaning services are offered at an additional R450 if requested. However, the lodge is cleaned and sanitized before arrival and after departure. If you are interested in the cleaning services, please let us know once the booking is confirmed and we can organize this for you.
