It appears that the lodge is short staffed as the cleaning lady was seated at reception on more than one occasion. I was most disappointed in the Wi-Fi access though. There was no signal upstairs in the bedroom. Apart from that, it was an average experience.
The rooms are five star, but not the service. Staff sit in the kitchen at breakfast and talk loudly while guests have to walk around and ask for help. The bar, which was self help, was dirty. No ice, so they brought us a bowl that was frozen. Unfortunately not five star.
We had a comfortable stay. Needs a colder fridge and a safe that works though, but did mention that to reception. Very friendly service.
