The house comprises 2 lounges and an open-plan kitchen off the first lounge. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave. Additional features include a large front verandah with braai facilities, as well as secure parking.
Guests are welcome to use the dam on the farm, which is large enough for small boats, canoes and tubes. The dam is filled with carp, kurper, bass, and barbers, which are strictly on a catch-and-release basis. The farm is also home to an array of bird life, bushbuck, zebras, Rooi bokke, kudu and baboons, as well as nightly active leopard.
There are hiking trails up the mountain, and guests are not permitted to hike after sunset, due to the leopard.

My friends and I enjoyed our weekend at Sitruskloof Holiday House. This rustic old farmhouse has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 8 to 10 individuals on single and bunk beds. There is a lovely stoep with a large braai overlooking the orange orchard. The farm also has a large dam that is ideal for swimming and lakeside picnics/braais. The farm is situated in a valley away from the main tar road leading out from Bela Bela, so the stay is very peaceful. The road up to the house is a bit rocky, so you need a vehicle with some ground clearance.
Mark and Louise were very friendly and ever so helpful. They made my family and I feel very welcome and we are already planning a second trip.
