At the beginning there were some cupboards and dishes that were not so clean, but this was soon corrected and after that the service was very good. We stayed 7 days and found that the fridge is too small for a self-catering unit in which one stays for such a long time, especially since you have to take all your food with you because there are no shops nearby.
We were very impressed with the accommodation and food. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We have already recommended Separation and will definitely visit there again ourselves!

Suikerbekkie has the most beautiful view with finches building their nests right in front of your window. Had a great time, dinner was served in my room and the extensive breakfast in the dining room with another nice view.
Hostess was very friendly. Cottage was very neat and clean. Dinner was very tasty and they make an effort to please everyone with the food.
I made a mistake with the date - host was very accommodating and provided alternative option for the night, which was perfect! Braai area and fireplace inside unit kept the space comfortably warm. We placed a last-minute order for dinner (spaghetti bolognese). Tasty meal and a huge portion. The walks on the farm with our furry "boys" on leashes were an absolute treat! Thank you. Both myself and young adult daughter enjoyed the stay at Skeiding Farm with the opportunity to re-charge batteries in a short period of time! (Slight disappointment: no wifi at guest cottage, led to believe only at restaurant).
Friendly and competent staff led by Jacqueline. Great for cooling off in the well-maintained swimming pool. Rustling of leaves in the wind under eucalyptus, bleating of sheep, lowing of cattle and calls of birds create a wonderful tranquility.
We slept over one night on the way to George. We were kindly welcomed, the house was clean, tidy, and well equipped with everything and more! The stoep is incredible with the most beautiful view of the farm. We will definitely be back and recommend Separation 100%!

This was my third visit to Skeiding and I will definitely visit again. The reception, accommodation, meals (especially breakfast) and peaceful surroundings make one feel truly pampered and refreshed. Neels and Lize-Marie are excellent hosts and Neels' farm tour is an absolute experience - full of interesting things, information and humour! I also had a lovely walk (walked is perhaps a better word) with Klara as company.

Affordable luxury amidst a working farm. A wise decision to change booking and accommodation and select the best room, Nguni, with its own spa bath. Loved every minute of stay. Gourmet meals at affordable prices using local ingredients. Elzette and staff professional, friendly and helpful. Love to see overseas visitors bringing their babies and young children to stay there.
Warm welcome, delicious dinner by the fireplace with friendly staff who make you feel at home and welcome, warm blankets put on all the beds while we were in the restaurant, herbs on the towels and beds, lovely farm tour and home-baked bread from the books for breakfast. Well done to all the staff of Separation. Now that was a pleasant surprise. Clara, the dog, made us feel just as at home.
The whole process from arrival to check-out was very comfortable and without problems. The cottage was fully equipped and attention to detail was noticeable. It was very comfortable and with the large outdoor patio and fireplaces, people enjoyed themselves until late at night.
