51 guests' feedbackShowered early every morning, with hot water, but last morning I got up later and showered at 07:00, with cold water. Would recommend maybe an extra geyser, and the shower is leaking water on the edges of the shower. I would recommend that it be sealed with silicon because the whole floor gets wet. So you get out of the shower on a wet carpet, or you might slip on a wet tile floor.

We had a nice stay indeed! Hostess received us kindly and made us feel at home, she was very helpful throughout the stay and just a phone call away. The place was neat and clean upon arrival. The view was a real WOW! Will definitely stay at the accommodation again!

Central located, within walking distance of the beach. A few cockroaches were spotted in the kitchen.
All my expectations were exceeded. The view and tranquility were incredible.
Even though the wind blew us away we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, if there was what we needed, we had a great stay and will definitely go there again.
First the check in was a nightmare. Santie was not available. She's too busy. Her cell phone was on voicemail. Second TV in Dolphin unit did not work at all. Thirdly, the stove takes a very long time to heat up (plate section). Fourth, there is no sanitizer in the unit. Will not stay at Skulpdraai again. Magdaleen the manager apologized because she was not aware that we had a reservation for the weekend. Accommodation and all the problems with TV and stove made accommodation a nightmare. Will definitely come back to Saldana but definitely not to Skulpdraai.
WiFi was weak in the Dolfyn room.
Enjoyed a lovely chilly relaxing weekend, would just like to share a double bed with my husband instead of 2 single beds.
Location is very good. Only the neighbours/tenants next door were noisy over the weekend. Some appliances like the stove need to be upgraded. Otherwise, we had a great time!
The people who post pictures should make sure it's for that room, we stayed there for 5 days and were unhappy. We expected more and were disappointed. We will not refer other people there.

As previously mentioned, I will recommend Skulpdraai anytime. As a frequent traveller, especially in the West Coast, I want to be so bold to say that Skulpdraai is my home away from home. I have been visiting Saldanha/Vredenburg at least one week a month for the past three years, and going to exactly the same place, that has now changed.

Excellent customer service, especially the owners response to my initial displeasure with unit I booked. Here, the customer and his needs definitely come first. The accommodation and associated facilities, location, price, cleanliness and safety are very good. I would without a doubt recommend this accommodation (with the exception of the unit where I initially stayed) to everyone. It was absolutely value for money. Many thanks to the owners for being so accommodating. I will definitely use your services again.

Home away from home. Was my third time there this here and will definitely return. Absolute value for money, best location, safety and service.
The service from the manager was great and no complaints there, but Palm apartment's layout is more suitable for parents with children than 2 couples, seeing that one room is located in the living room and you have to go through the other couple's bedroom to the bathroom . This makes for no privacy for any of the couples that remain. The location is on a busy street with vehicles adjusting to a speedbump all night. Traffic was disturbing.
We stayed in the Dolphin unit. The bedrooms and kitchen furniture are very basic, (shelves without doors, no grater or ladle and a couch instead of chairs might work in the kitchen as the TV is installed very high). There is also no outside light or braai area for the Dolfyn unit, so maybe something to look at?
People go out of their way to help with everything. Kitchen needs some work.

There is a need for a better Wi-Fi connection for email purposes as it is very poor. The water pressure in the shower needs attention. No gate remote was supplied and it was a bit of a nuisance to get out of the vehicle to open/close the gate to type in the password. This might become a security risk in future if not attended to. However, it is a nice place to stay and very well priced and I will definitely go again.

The perfect place to break away and relax. Sleeping in each morning, viewing the ocean and strolls on the beach just lovely.

Place was a bit small for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and there were only single beds in the unit (Dolfyntjie). Understand that since we were only staying overnight it may have been the best option. Unit nice clean and tidy but no microwave or stove in unit which makes it difficult to "self care".

We stayed in the Palm Unit (rear unit). It was not well maintained, it was dirty and old. The caretaker told us it was our duty to keep the place clean (we were there for 13 days). The stove doesn't work properly, the fridge doesn't close completely, the mattresses are so old we considered sleeping on the ground instead. Furthermore, you are 1 meter from the house next door, and your front door faces a parking area, so there is no view or privacy. There are 2 windows that cannot close because the 'handles' are off. The unit is right on a very busy road with constant noise. For our R850 per night we could have found much better accommodation elsewhere and moved 3 days earlier. You can't hear the sea at all, the front units look great, but don't waste your money on the rear units. Very disappointing. The ad is clearly written for the front 'Sea-front' units, not the rear units.
It was really a very nice weekend break. Everything is so set up and close, long stretches on the beach were so refreshing, will definitely be visiting again soon!
Beautiful place right on the sea. With the view, we had to force ourselves to give way from the stoep during the day. Delicious braai area right next to the house. The photos are exactly how the house looks. Will definitely go back again.
Is an incredible place. Have to say I was a bit scared to use all the "antiques", but whoever decorated the house was very cute. We had a nice stay for the 3 days.
Very good location with a fantastic view. Although this is a self-catering unit, a hairdryer would have helped. (We were there by motorbike and then there is still no room for such a thing.)
We had the back unit which adjoined the main road. Noise from cars very bad. Shower was not clean at all and the place smelled of cigarette smoke. Hot water system (gas) was very difficult to regulate. Will stay there again if we can get the front unit facing the sea.
