Lovely house with everything you need and more, we were able to take our little dog with us which was a big bonus. House was also pretty neat and clean. Will definitely visit again.

Yes, it was quiet, safe, close to a restaurant, Kaia, walking distance to sea, close to Vedrif etc. Very important, they should only install lighting on stairs, and the passage to the toilet at the lower room should be checked.
Nice and cozy with all the necessary amenities and accessories. That our dog children were welcome is a highlight.
Well welcomed. Everything inside the house that you need for the stay. Located near the sea, everyone you meet there is very friendly. Animal friendly.
Loadshedding is a bit of a problem, however, the braai and gas stove are lifesavers. Flies. Well, they are everywhere, spray or not they just come again.

Slakkepas 52 is a comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need for a nice break. The complex as well as the pool and clubhouse are safe, tidy and clean. The beach, shop and restaurant are within walking distance.

We love Dwarskersbos and we love Slakkepas, we always stay at 52. From the start of the booking process, until the end did we have great service.
Place is very nice small but spacious and would recommend the place to anyone who wants place to stay. would just love to play snooker as there were no sticks. Furthermore, it had been the nicest break in a very long time.

Wasn't very neat. Floors, 2 covers, pillows and sofa cover not clean. Garbage bins without lids unacceptable. Round glass bowl has not been clean.

We enjoyed the time in Slakkepas 52, and it was our first time visiting Dwarskersbos. The lady who welcomed us made us feel at home and was always available for questions. The children were able to move around the complex safely. We will definitely use their Snail Pass again.
Slag Pass is definitely walking distance from the beach. Very safe and peaceful environment. Just a pity the pool was closed due to water restrictions. Everyone enjoyed it and kids didn't want to leave.
We drove about 2 hours to reach our destination. The lady who received us made us feel very welcome. It is an ideal place to break away. Very beautiful nature, view and sea. The faucet in the bathroom was a little loose, but otherwise we enjoyed ourselves.

Slackepas 52 is well furnished and equipped with everything you might need. It needs some maintenance work. Personally, I feel the deck is unsafe for smaller children and needs urgent attention. We couldn't take advantage of it. And to say it is about 150 m from the beach is misleading. It's more like 550 m, but still we enjoyed the accommodation and surroundings. Would only suggest that renovation work be done or rate per day reduced.

We really enjoyed staying in the house. It was fully equipped with everything one would need. We would like to suggest some work be done to the upstairs patio flooring, adding some stairs in between the outside stairs as well as the half moon window. Thank you so much.

We really enjoyed the weekend. The unit is exceptionally well equipped, thank you. The only negative comment is the window on the loft that cannot be opened. The problem has already been highlighted by several people on their review. I think it's time it was fixed and not just a note stuffed in the hand about it. The deck's paint is also peeling and needs maintenance.

I will never look at a little snail in quite the same way after my stay at Slakkepas. I will always wonder if the little snail's house is also that beautiful on the inside. Equipped with everything you may need, even needle and thread. Next time I will stay longer so I can have a thorough look at all the books. The complex was really peaceful, very safe. The little town is quiet, the beach is even more quiet, and just the place to take my fluffy friend for a walk, a leash wasn't even necessary. The only issue I have is the window in the loft, was unable to open it, thre room gets very stuffy during the day and is only habitable at night when it has cooled down a bit. Then would be the perfect time to make use of the deck.
Quiet and peaceful with the most beautiful beach and friendly people.
I was not impressed with this place at all, there was R30 worth of power on the meter. There is no curtain to make the loft room more private, so anyone who drives down the main road can look into the room and at your bed. The window in the bedroom is broken and the winch with which you roll it up is fastened with a screw that can slip out at any moment. Everything is dusty and there is, for example, not even coffee and sugar, or salt and pepper, etc. I really wasted my money.

Indoor barbecue/fireplace is a winner on the West Coast where the evening air is usually cool. Very tastefully decorated. Option for full DStv was much appreciated and 2 dachshunds had a good time together.
The house is cute, but needs a bit of attention now and then. Inside of cupboards were not clean. The basin's pipes need attention. We also found a pet in the huis, so it is necessary to fumigate now and then. Our family that came to visit were impressed.
