Every time I have to wait for the room. Or they move me to another room. The last time I had to sleep there, they didn't let me know until 16:00 that my room was not ready and that they were going to move me to another room. But I went home. Last time I stood outside at the gate and got no codes. When I called the number, it immediately went to voicemail. At 15:00 in the afternoon they called me back and said that I was on my way home and couldn't come in, with the excuse that there was 'load shedding'. I didn't know that their phones on power don't work. I will never book there again. Customer service is poor. VERY DISAPPOINTED. How can a room not be ready by 4pm?

All the rooms' decor is very exquisite. Rooms are spacious, modern, clean and tidy. An Addisonal bedside table is all that was missing in room 3. We loved Marmelade, the beautiful cat, who came to visit us. a welcome guest. Thank you very much, we had a great time at home.

The hotel was easy to find, very centrally located and safe. The rooms are very neat and clean.
Our visit at Sleep @ 84 was wonderful. The rooms were clean and tidy and modern. All that bothered us was the gate's code box was against the wall itself so you have to get out of your vehicle to open the gate. It's not so nice late at night. The hotel's water pump was by our room window (room 10), so every time anyone on the premises turns on their tap, the pump rattles at the window. The braai was also by our window and the other guests were terribly noisy and there was no control over it. The door that should be able to open to room 9 next to us, where our small children stayed, did not work so we could not get to them during the night if we had to, because they had to lock the door themselves in their room. The lock was broken. Furthermore, the beds were nice and cuddly and we had a very nice stay. Would definitely recommend.

Self-check-in works as a dream for late check-ins. All as advertised.
My 2nd time staying here. Place is easy to find, comfortable and tidy. Check-in is very easy. Load shedding times were passed in advance which helped. Only problem I encountered was that parking inside the facility can only accommodate the minimum, if you come back late at night chances are you won't find parking inside. I also tried calling to report a blocked drain but with no answer and no help.
We did still have load shedding and all I would recommend at Sleep@84 is that any form of light be provided for the guests (eg candles or charged battery lights).
Get what you expect and pay for. Only safety negative is that the interior glass door was wide open throughout our stay so non-guests could easily access the room area.
A very neat, well-located place to sleep! In the center of town, close to everything. No other services are offered, but there is a lapa if you want to barbecue! There is no "back up power" when load shedding kicks in!
Sleep @ 84 was a great overnight spot! The room was clean and so nice and cool when we checked in.
Perfect location in the middle of everything. I would have liked more bedding though as there were no extra blankets and it was getting cold. I would only recommend this for 3 adults as the sofa bed is very small and would only work for a child. Shower was also blocked and water pooled. We also struggled a bit to have enough hot water in the morning. I suspect the geyser is shared with unit next door. Furthermore, it is very luxurious, safe and I will visit again if my grievances are addressed.
The only concern was open electrical wires and no cover on DB ─ dangerous and illegal. We had a very good stay ─ nice place, thanks!

Just didn't have hot water on the day we left, could a.g.v. been loadshedding. Would have felt more comfortable with burglar bars on the windows, as there is no fan or aircon in the room.
Room is spacious and has everything you need. Unfortunately there are no fans, and when we were there in December, it was very hot.
The room had a modern feel to it. It was neat and clean. Not a hassle to check in, you are provided with codes to get hold of your keys at the room (very convenient). The electric blanket was also nice, especially with the cold weather!

No complimentary coffee or milk, which I feel should have been included for what you pay per night. Apart from the small things, the location is very good for those who want to walk everywhere. Limited secure parking, so we ended up having to park in the street.
Overall, this is very good accommodation to book in Dullstroom. All negative points were the following: 1. The room we stayed in has access to the room next door through a wooden door in the kitchen/front room. It offers no privacy and everything the guests next door do can be heard. Suggest closing that door. 2. Our duvet was torn in 3 places (took pictures). It was very noticeable and worrying that it wasn't picked up by staff when the room was made up (or it was noticed and just ignored). Apart from the above points, this is an excellent stay, especially in terms of location.
Room 7 where we slept just needs a mirror in the room for us ladies to blow hair and paint face. Then maybe also a container of soap like in the shower to be able to wash hands. Also there was no coffee, tea etc. not been in the containers. Other than that it was ideal! Clean and tidy!
Parking inside was insufficient for the total amount of guests staying at the hotel. No night guard on duty to assist or anyone answering calls. Room 10 has a shared door with the unit next door which is locked, but offers no privacy or sense of safety. Any noise or sound was crystal clear coming from the unit next door. Nonetheless, the room was very clean and had fresh towels with choccies which made it slightly better.
We stayed in the family unit. I booked for me and my husband and our daughter. We checked in late. There were only 2 towels and 2 waters. I contacted them. I let them know by whatsapp at 17:53 to bring us a 3rd of each. They only answered me back at 18:45 and finally arrived at 19:06 to bring it. The night when we got into our beds, the top and bottom sheets were so wrinkled and crumpled, they were definitely not clean sheets. The soap in the shower was finished, the bottle was empty. I took pictures of alder and sent them. I did not get any feedback from them. I think it's pathetic.

The service was excellent and the rooms were clean. I just want to make a suggestion that a sign be placed at the top step: "watch out for the step", because one of my family members fell when she didn't see the step. Everything is fine except the evenings. The outside lights shine into the room and it is difficult to sleep. We stayed in room 4 and there was a slight clicking sound that we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Also very nice stay. Thank you.

I would like to thank the website for the extremely professional service, and also to Sonja with my queries. I would like to provide feedback regarding this visit. My comments are meant to be positive, and for the benefit of other guests. On the plus side: The arrangements regarding access to the premises and the room were perfect. The location in the middle of town is also perfect. We parked and walked everywhere. The room was neat, perfectly and tastefully furnished. Matters that should receive attention. The exterior light outside Room 10's front door does not work. It was pitch dark when we returned last night. The lights outside Rooms 8 and 9 are so dim that we could not see the steps on the porch. New and bright light bulbs will make things much safer. The second, hanging roof light does not work. This makes the far end of the room too dark to see what is going on in the suitcases. There is only a bedside light by the bed closest to the door. A second bedside light at bed 2 will make things very convenient. The following 2 cases unfortunately turned the positive experience into a negative experience: The shower's outlet is blocked and one stands and showers in a bath of water, that later on you had to reduce the shower's outflow, otherwise the water overflowed into into the bathroom. To add to the unsanitary and slimy experience, there is no shower mat available, I would at least like to stand my feet on a mat. I would not consider the mat in front of the toilet a shower mat. It's horrible to stand in a tub of dirty shower water and take a shower. A bottle of drain cleaner should be thrown into each unit's shower every 2 months. Fortunately, these are 2 easy solutions. The last point is the hardest to resolve, and also the one that would make me unable to recommend Sleep @ 84. The access door to Room 9 is not soundproof. Being woken up at 5:45 on a Saturday morning by the people in Room 9, due to an inherently poor design, turns the stay into an unpleasant memory. I must mention that this is not a case of people talking loudly, their voice volumes were normal, but from an acoustic design principle, such a door, without dense insulation material between the 2 doors is a recipe for continuous problems . Maybe that's why you get a lot of complaints and put up warnings about audio noise. I would love to stay at Sleep @ 84 again, but not with a door that lets so much sound through. I hope you will be able to put the easy solutions, as recommended, in place, and then place an acoustically effective damping material between the 2 doors. Thank you, Lars.

We will definitely stay at Sleep @ 84 again if we visit Dullstroom again. The only thing is parking becomes a problem as there is only one space for each unit so if someone parks across a line you struggle to get into your parking.
Perfect sleepover, clean and modern.
It's not the type of place you want to stay if you don't have plans to explore Dullstroom. This is the place where you sleep comfortably and everything is basically just around the corner (except Checkers, because there isn't one in Dullstroom). The contactless access was so convenient, especially since we only arrived late. It is clean, tidy and tastefully furnished. If you are looking for a place where you and your loved one can enjoy a view and just stare out the window, this may not be for you.
Sleep @ 84 is definitely one of the places we will use again. Everything was flawless. Although it would have been convenient if there was coffee etc. was in the room.

I was in Dullstroom for a wedding at the weekend and stayed one night in Sleep @ 84. I had two requests: to book a little earlier than 2pm and to have an iron at my disposal! Both requests were met. The nicest were the two friendly faces of the cleaners who were busy elsewhere in the guest house. They welcomed me and proudly took me to the room. I appreciated it so much! The rooms are spacious with everything one needs and more. Furthermore, everything was spotless and tidy. Until next time.

The place was clean, safe and good location. Just want to mention the advertisement of 3 persons not quite accurate. Third bed is the daybed. No extra cup available for person. Cater only for 2 persons and nothing for tea drinkers. No extra warm blankets for beds. Only two beds have electric blankets.
Just sad that they don't provide basics like coffee, tea, sugar or milk. Also, no hand wash soap or lotion.
I had to attend an urgent meeting that evening via the Internet. Internet was not available at all. The person in charge is never available on her phone.
Very cute and nice place. Just needs hooks in the bathroom and a box to put your things on. There was also no mirror by the little table in the bedroom. There was also a light shining into our bedroom which was terribly annoying and the room was not dark if one wanted to sleep. Furthermore, we were very satisfied and it is a very neat and comfortable place!
Drag @ 84 is acceptable but lacks rounding. Load shedding assistance light can help. Soap dish can work in shower. Blinds for the room can enhance privacy as it is right next to the entrance of the main building. Room gives a cave feeling and stuffy smell, with a possible few moves in the overall configuration regarding entrance and bathroom etc. it might change. It may be Dullstroom but the quality and location of this room does not justify the price.
Everything was very neat and clean. The only small thing we can point out is the carpet in room 3 which formed ears that we kept tripping over, but as I say it's a very small thing we want to point out. Thank you very much again for the hospitality, you will definitely see us again.
Such a great host! Well controlled access to in and out of the hotel in terms of the security. Covid -19 regulations were well followed. The hotel was a walking distance from every prime spot around the area. Quiet and very peaceful. And lastly. The place was spotless. Definitely coming back soon.

The premises is on the main road, and walking distance to most places that I wanted to visit. Check-in was quick and painless as was checking out. I found the room to be well-organised, clean and spacious. I will happily stay there again in the future. I also enjoyed the small touches of towels to use, free coffee and little chocolates on the pillow. I wasn't able to use the boma as I was in town for a wedding, but it looked nice as well.
Only comment is that there is too little seating and no table to eat at. The bed for extra guest is not really suitable for bigger children. It should be pointed out that there are stairs to the unit especially for older guests.

Access to the facility was really convenient and the location made the stop-over even more enjoyable. Value for money.
We slept in room 1 and the drain from the shower did not drain. You just might have to look at it, it fills up like a bathtub!

We stayed in Units 4 and 10 at Sleep@84 as an overnight stop on the way to the game reserve. It was a very comfortable stay in newly built and decorated rooms, which are sometimes hard to find in Dullstroom these days. The location in the middle of town is perfect to stroll around the town without having to use a car. Two slight downsides though: The bathrooms are incredibly small, and the backup water pump is very noisy and intrusive seeing that its right outside the bedroom windows, and it runs each time someone uses water in the units.

We were told ahead of time that we had been moved to another room because there was a fault with the shower door, but we had no problem with that. We had a very nice stay.
Upon our arrival in Dullstroom, I called Sonja Marais to find out if I could park my vehicle in Sleep @84's parking as we can only check in at 14:00 and I don't want to park my vehicle with luggage in the street. She gave permission for it. I called her a second time after 12:00 to see if we might be able to check in already and she later informed me that the rooms were not ready yet. Both times I called her she sounded pretty impatient. I feel that if you are in this industry you should at least try to be more tolerant and kind to your guests.
Very nice and modern and clean. It was a very cold weekend and the room and bathroom were a bit cold with the modern layout, no heaters. Double bed had electric blanket on it, so slept warm but rest of room very cold.
Pleasantly surprised with accommodation, compact, comfortable, safe, stairs somewhat of an awkwardness with luggage, parking not sufficient if caravans are also to be accommodated. Furthermore, everything is beautifully clean and well located.

What a wonderful cremation with the kick-in. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The best thing is that it works the entrance and the key with a code, so you don't have to rush to get out. We were able to drive quietly and still appreciate the landscape on the way. The hotel is within walking distance of many of the shops and eateries available in Dullstroom. Sonja is really a star with arrangements and accommodating. Would really recommend to anyone looking to relax for a weekend.
Lovely place would like all beds to have electric blankets and a heater. The street was very noisy.
Rarely do you find that the pictures on the web look the same as the room itself. Very relaxing, no one bothering you, quiet and very tidy - right in the middle of everything, walking distance.
The shower drain is blocked. The toilet is leaking water. The sink faucet is loose.
For an overnight stay, Sleep @ 84 is perfect, and a cheap option.
Premises work with codes only, no staff. The contact number of the premises does not work. Although access code was sent, there was no confirmation attempt to make sure the customer received and saw it.
We booked three rooms, and I spoke to a Debbie about the rooms I asked her if the rooms that 2 couples had to share had enough sleeping space. She told me it was quite sufficient for 2 couples. The one room had two single beds in it that were pushed against each other and there was also a sleeper couch in it but no bedding for the sleeper couch. The bedding that was in the box had no sheets etc in it. So 2 people had to sleep together on a single bed which was extremely uncomfortable. When we moved the beds away from each other it was dirty under the beds. Not a very nice experience.
