7 guests' feedbackWe had a truly special winter stay at Gordonville Cottage, beautiful accommodation, stunning views and wildlife, and amazing walks. A peaceful getaway with everything we needed as a family to make for a memorable experience. Our hosts were excellent and made sure we were well looked after at all times. And we were treated to some snow!
What an indescribably beautiful, secluded place. Our house was extremely tasteful with everything in lemon yellow, white and green grey. Not to mention the warm, welcoming hostess! We were treated to complimentary freshly baked bread, and on another occasion, marshmallow pudding with creme anglaise - all on the house! And she also invited us to go with her to look at the bushman drawings. The couple also deserve recognition for everything they do to preserve the precious environment and landscape.
The stay was wonderful. The Sneeuberg Nature Reserve house faces almost completely east, so the house is quite cold in winter. There are adequate heaters and electric blankets. I would take an extra polar fleece blanket for sitting outside, which I don't worry about getting dirty.
Picture beautiful, house is fully equipped and the tranquility is just what the soul needs. Will book again anytime. Hostess was amazing.
We stayed in Kliphuis, our sunrise was amazing and we could also go for a nice walk. The house is well equipped, a nice holiday home and could probably be nicer on warmer days.
Lovely cottage in the mountains, crispy clean sheets and lots of firewood for the indoor fire place.
Wonderful weekend getaway at picturesque Gordonville Cottage. Tasteful accommodation and beautiful vistas over the Karoo landscape make you wish you could stay longer.
