"Absolutely nice."

Absolutely nice everything was close to where we lived. Awesome, really awesome.

The studio room was very modern design and nice, though I am not sure about having an open bathroom in the lounge part of the room. It seems to suit singles or a couple. All the amenities are high quality and there was milk provided in the fridge. There was tea, coffee, sugar and spices and some rusk cookies available. There are no shops in the area, so you need to bring your own supplies. A car is needed. Nice restaurants and good supermarkets are around 10 minute's drive away. There were a few items missing that would be needed for a stay of more than a few days, such as a microwave and a washer, though a daily laundry service is available. There is only an outdoor dining table, but there is a nice outdoor BBQ. The bar fridge is adequate for a short stay. Undercover open parking was good, with stair access to the first level and secure doors. The room is set in a nice modern house with full security including CCTV cameras throughout, and the owner living upstairs. There are three studio rooms available with common access. There is an outdoor pond that I thought was a pool from the picture. The wildlife is nice including the croaking frogs. The owner is helpful and friendly. It is set on a hillside with a view, however it cannot be located without a clear map. I got lost twice. The map on the website was not adequate.

Would not recommend, the place has very modern finishes but there is not even a candle or light when there is load shedding. Place doesn't smell clean either.

Marcus was so hospitable! It's really a beautiful and unique home that he designed himself. Beautiful views and close to everything. Snooze see you soon!

The apartment is very comfortable. The place has a nice, modern design. It is very nearby to the amenities of Hout Bay, the beach and Chapman’s Peak Road.
