Mariana is incredibly friendly and helpful. The guest house was excellently prepared before our arrival. Load shedding is not a problem. The rooms are large and very tidy with a comfortable bed.
Very beautiful, quite rustic and perfectly situated. Pity it was quite difficult to regulate temperature of gas geyser.

The cottage is fully equipped with everything needed. The veranda overlooks a leafy green forest, just off a piece of dirt road, which guarantees absolute peace and quiet. The quality of the bed and bedding is particularly high. Friendly and regular communication from the owners ensured that no shortcomings existed for the weekend.
I travel quite a lot and I have to say that Soetwaters Gastehuis is truly 10/10 in my books. Not only were the rooms neat, the hostess Mariana, was incredibly helpful and friendly, We didn't need anything, because everything was already there. They have such a snack bar with reasonable prices and even had extra baby diapers if we needed them. The place was very safe too and the most beautiful dogs on the plot. Will go there again for sure. Thank you Mariana and Co.
The place is stunning and on a farm. Great getaway out of the city. We will go again. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We felt very welcome and appreciated all the little details. The chocolates on our beds went down a treat. Loved the donkeys nearby. Lovely quiet area.
Wonderful stay and we got some great rest. Just made a bit of noise when you have to use the bathroom at night, disturbs the other guests. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Loved the little gifts on the beds and the coffee, tea, and rusks were a nice treat.
We had such a peaceful time. The cottage has everything you need and the owners spoiled us with delicious chocolates and gifts on the bed upon arrival. There were 2 donkeys who came to visit and played with our dogs. Ideal for bringing your dogs along as there is a sturdy fence to keep them in. Owners also helped when we forgot our "firelighters". It was indeed a very very pleasant visit.
The perfect place for a break from the city! Bonus: you can take your pets with you.

It was very tranquil, a nice getaway out of the city, very neat and clean, very well-equipped.
We spent only one night but the cottage is ideal for a family. Peaceful and I liked the fact that it was so secluded. You have your own yard and privacy.
A proper braai place / boma, where you can make a fire for visiting and braai, will be an asset for sure.
Very nice stay. I just looked forward to braai there because it said on the website that there are braai facilities. There aren't any.
