We were able to watch the sunset right from our stoep in the afternoons and enjoyed a braai one evening. Our room was super spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Paternoster itself is a great little town for exploring and eating out - we didn't have enough time to enjoy all the restaurants, so we will have to come back!
Everything was beautiful, just the one night someone pulled on our door. We think the people were tipsy and tried to enter; this could be a problem if it was just women alone. Luckily, our door was locked. The view from the bed is amazing and the sea right at your door is gorgeous! Will be back!

Beautiful venue with easy walking distance to restaurants. Lovely birdlife. Clean and comfortable. My only gripe was the lack of a door/curtain to close the toilet off from the passage/room.
Perfect setting, very well equipped, but the tiles and stark furnishings make for a noisy place. I am sure it would be irritating to have noisy guests in the house as there is a communal foyer.

Incredible view - indescribably beautiful. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The unit is neat, clean and well equipped. Indoor grilling is a winner. We will go back to the gem for sure.
I feel that more should have been said that the unit is equipped for wheelchair use. Mirror over the sink was so low I couldn't shave. Light in the braai was broken which made it difficult with the braai. TV so small a person had to use binoculars to see what was written there. The location was unbeatable and overall it was a very nice experience but I think the price was just a bit too high.

I have been in a wheelchair for 12 years and have been to various wheelchair friendly accommodation places for these 12 years and when I get there with my wheelchair it is 1 big struggle from start to finish, then the place is not wheelchair friendly at all, but Soli Deo Gloria is 1 of 2 places I've been to in the last 12 years that has worked right for me with the wheelchair. The other place was the Kruger National Park. So yes, Soli Deo Gloria we will definitely see you again!

THE view over the sea from your apartment cannot be described in words. The apartment is small, but fully equipped with everything you need. The braai inside or outside is just a pleasure while you can enjoy a cocktail with fresh sea air that fills the area deliciously.
Only point that was not to our liking is the shower facilities. Very cramped and unfortunately everything is wet when you have finished showering.

It was a lovely holiday, Ronel, the hostess was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every moment, despite the fact that we didn't really go for a walk around the shops due to the Covid-19 which was seriously busy, and we really enjoyed the tranquility. We also had lovely weather. Will definitely want to go there again and recommend the place to future guests. Many thanks again to Ronel and her staff.

Upon arrival we were welcomed by the manager who was very friendly and helpful. The unit was clean and the decor amazing. Having coffee on the porch was the highlight of my day. The view across the ocean was so tranquil, I will definitely be back for another experience.
They would have to start thinking of upgrading the place, especially the spare bathroom and the outside of the house.
Beautiful view and a privilege to be able to sit and relax while sitting inside yet experiencing the surroundings outside. However, the cleanliness was a problem but at least the owner paid attention to it.

The accommodation really is equipped with everything you need and more. It's very accessible if you're in a wheelchair because everything is flat and there is enough space to move around and the deck that leads to the beach is really nice and also suitable for a wheelchair. Everything was perfect, only downside was the second room's TV that did not work. From Timophy who checked us in, to the lady who came to clean (did not take her name) thank you very much for your good service, we will definitely come again. Thank you!

It's an unbelievable place! The view, convenience and neatness.
Dit was ons eerste keer in Paternoster en wow, wat 'n treat. Ons verblyf was awesome, skoon, netjies alles wat jy benodig sal definitief weer teruggaan en daar bly. Mense is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam.
The accommodation is very well furnished and we had a very nice stay. A few things I picked up that could perhaps be improved. There are some dirty spots in the house, e.g. I had to wash the shower head, the inside of the fridge and a lot of the cutlery we took out of the cupboard, which was still dirty. The bottom drawer in the kitchen under the sink is impossible to open and close, it's very tight. A little Q20 I'm sure will fix it. The knives are terribly blunt. We struggled terribly to make food with it. Furthermore, Timothy was very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay and had a great time relaxing.
It is without a doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed. King-size bed with fresh linen, a lot of bath towels, and even swimming towels. There is a dishwasher (with soap), washing machine, tumble drier, and two electrically controlled "lazy boys"! The unit is cleaned daily by a team of three very friendly cleaners. The owner, Ben also came in to make sure everything was in order. This was a very great treat!
The accommodation is beautiful, the owner Ben is pleasant and made our stay really enjoyable. The location is perfect. The house is serviced every day, the bed is good. I will put up a bigger and longer shower curtain though. Also, the window in the bathroom overlooks the room and living room, I would suggest they put up blinds there, it's awkward to use the bathroom while guests are watching you. But everything is beautifully clean and really pleasant to stay there. I recommend it.

It was fantastic! Exactly what I needed. Unfortunately the walls are a bit thin. There were other guests in Unit 2 which disturbed our privacy a but, but I will definitely go again.

We used the accommodation for a week and enjoyed every moment. The location of the unit is absolutely unbeatable and the unit is kept in a good condition overall. The chairs are incredibly comfortable and has the best view of the beautiful beach. There are some things that need attention. We felt that there was too little cupboard space to pack out all the groceries. The kettle needs to be replaced urgently seeing as how the lid cannot close anymore. It would also help if there was more crockery available. It is not a big problem though seeing as how there is a dishwasher. We didn't make use of the second room, but it was definitely not on the same level as the rest of the unit. That might disappoint some guests.
Beautiful ocean view, right on the beach, private and away from the busy "port". Apartment has everything you need for a getaway for 2 in summer or winter. With the indoor braai it is very cozy while you can still see and hear the sea.
We felt like we were sitting inside a moving painting when we watched the sea from the house. Everything you need is in the house.
