Thank you very much for allowing us to sleep at Somerset Lodge for the weekend! The place is small but comfortable for 2 people (and we also had 3 miniature Schnautzers with us!). It is located in a quiet residential area with nice walking trails close to the house.

We had a lovely stay - the area is quiet and we felt very welcome when we walked in as the rooms were already nice and warm on a cool night!
During the middle of winter, the aircon kept us warm in the open plan kitchen/lounge, and the wall heater in the bedroom.
Stay was very comfortable. An electric blanket could be an extra feature.
The secure parking was a bit of a problem. We moved garden furniture and just got our vehicle in. Unfortunately we got there during load shedding, and that was quite a problem. Maybe put light bulbs that burn during load shedding in strategic places. It was also extremely hot in the unit during load shedding.

Excellent overnight guest house! The guest house was neat, clean and excellently equipped for our purpose of spending the night there. We will definitely use the guest house's service again in the future. We were very pleased with our experience. Would recommend to others any time.

Somerset Lodge was very neat and clean. Perfect modern apartment with friendly owners. Everything was provided for a perfect evening and for guests who would like to stay longer. All human pleasures were also provided in bathroom and kitchen. Table and chairs in front of apartment also perfect and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you very much.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and it was our first time in Montagu. The apartment is so clean, tidy and private. We could have a good barbecue and go in and out as we wanted. The owners are also so nice and I will definitely stay there again!
It was a lovely, peaceful visit in a breathtaking area with a beautiful piquant art and crafty cottage and an unforgettable night's rest on the nicest, most comfortable bed and bedding in the wonderfully peaceful scenery.

Somerset Lodge is beautiful! Small, private and incredibly clean and tidy. For 2 people you can't ask for better. It's close to shops and places to eat and the area is quiet and peaceful. Definitely worth a visit!

At first we were worried because we had to park on the street, because we had already paid, we decided to stay. Pleasantly surprised that the room looks very clean and tidy. Linens were clean and smelled fresh. We would have preferred if they prepared breakfast as we chose b&b, at least the owner had Wheatbix in room. I would definitely recommend the place.
