Spectacular! View! View! View! I couldn't get enough of the most beautiful views of the ocean from the stoep. The cottage is immaculate! All rooms are spacious and appliances are updated. There is more than enough seating in the living room and kitchen. The gate to the private beach couldn't unlock, but we climbed over it; didn't want to bother the host with this minor detail. We will definitely go back again and again! We logged onto the DStv with our own account, which was fine; we could enjoy the rugby. The only con is the hawkers on the beach and around the cottage.
Very sheltered stoep area from the winter chill. Good showers with lots of hot water. Everything worked well — you can tell that it is a much-loved holiday home.
What a view with everything you need. Well equipped kitchen and bedrooms and bathrooms. 5 for cleanliness. Definitely will be back. Thank you to the owners correspondence during our stay and so friendly.
Brilliant choice for us, everything is perfect but there were people trying to sell us stuff all the time so if not for that it was perfect.

Son-n-See has one of the best location in Paternoster. Unfortunately, it's let down by a number of basic things. Firstly, the bed size. Every room is only a double bed. It is advertised as such, but we won't be back because It's just too small. Really needs to be larger at this price point. Secondly, the house was well-equipped with basic cutlery and pots and pans. however, the wine glasses were tiny and only had 4 of them for a 6 sleeper house. Small things like some wood for the braai were not there or even things like matches or lighter were missing, including dishwashing tablets. We had an issue that required us to call the website regarding the internet and also got a quick reply from the owners which was nice.
We had a very nice stay. Place very nicely equipped. Very close to rocks and sea. Nice and spacious place.
This is a special place. Centrally located with one of the most beautiful views over Paternoster's beach and sea.
Regrettably many maintenance and hygiene issues that could have been attended to before renting the property out. Nice touch that the owner personally contacted us. These issues did not spoil our stay whatsoever and we will return.
The owners could invest in a better quality and clean towels, and kitchen dish cloths. I was disgusted with the towels I received in my room. It was dirty and torn. This house is so popular therefore I cannot see why the owners cannot invest in better towels. The house owners in the Paternoster area could do more to assist the municipality to keep the beach clean. The beach was full of plastic, plastic bottles and broken glass.
Bedding in master bedroom could be replaced - rooms and especially bathrooms did not impress us.
Absolutely beautiful setting. Rooms are spacious and have everything you could need. Easy walk down to the beach and the rocks.
We enjoyed Son-n-See, a cosy house with a beautiful sea view! Will go there again.
Although Son-en-See is beautifully located with an unimproved view, (people are right on the new waterfront with delicious restaurants), we were very disappointed with the beauty of the unit. There was only a top wipe. There were thick layers of dust under the sofas and cobwebs by curtain rails, bedside lamps etc.
We were there for only 2 nights, but everyone wanted to stay longer. Already started planning to go back again. 3 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. Really a very very special place.
We really enjoyed our time at Son-n-See.

Fully equipped with everything we needed and the rooms are nice and spacious with enough bathrooms for a large family, but the house needs a good spring clean, it was clear that the upstairs is only dusted every now and then.
Sun and sea were incredibly nice! The house has everything you need. The best vacation ever.
Son-n-See is a lovely place for a weekend getaway or holiday! It has an incredible view and is equipped with everything one needs. One of the big plus points is that each of the three rooms has an en suite bathroom. There is even an additional guest bathroom. Also a lovely house for winter weekend with an indoor fireplace. Would definitely recommend it.
