3 guests' feedbackWe had a great time camping and resting. The tranquility of the camp was just what we needed. Camping pitches are not properly marked and it is difficult to understand the layout per pitch. It would help if there was someone on arrival who could help us with that. The wood supply for the donkey was not sufficient and we did not make provision for it, as it is stated on the website that Sondela provides the wood for the donkey and boma. Administration was a bit confused and we were stopped at the gate on our way out because we hadn't settled our bill. We paid in full on the website and on arrival the R75 storage fee. There was suddenly no record of our payments and we had to waste precious time while Sondela sorted out their admin. The 4x4 route to the camp was nothing but muddy dirt road with almost no challenges, but the camp was definitely worth it. Several vehicles turned up at the camp which were definitely not 4x4.
Lots to do for all the kids and grandkids, really enjoyed it.
Great break away for a week. Blissful for the soul. Every day camp guards brought us wood for the boma and donkey. Maybe they just need to fill up the water tanks more often, unfortunately we had to call to inform them about the water. Will definitely go camping again in Tambuki 4x4 camp.
