Bloubergstrand, what a very nice place to stay for a Cape visit! On the rocks, by the sea with the beautiful Table Mountain in sight, and a very nice environment to walk and just enjoy everything. Sunshine is great! Warm and cozy and very beautiful with a wonderful hostess and staff. Will definitely come again when I get the chance to go to Cape Town.

Cape Town's lights at night, the sound of waves in your ears, the most beautiful furniture in the house and a friendly hostess is how I can describe Sonskyn. It reminds me of Laurika Rauch music and we would love to visit again.
All that was better than the location was the hospitality - amazing place and I would recommend anyone to stay there - on the beach, walking distance to restaurants and unbeatable view!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Sonskyn. The host opens her home to you and truly gives you the feel of a proper traditional guesthouse. Couldn't recommend Sonskyn more! Perfect location at the start of the beach walk, with magnificent views.
Everything was so nice, very neat and very comfortable. We were warmly received and shown our room and house. The view from the lower room and the rest of the house on Table Mountain is breathtaking. We experienced the most beautiful sunset and the house is practically on the beach. Would definitely recommend visiting.

I felt very comfortable and relaxed.
Advertising is misleading. The downstairs room does not have a bar fridge and must use a communal fridge. The room door goes into the main living room which gives you no privacy. Cars are parked in the street with no security gates etc. The hostess is pleasant although no privacy is offered. She walked into our room and turned off the light as we made a quick coffee in the common sitting room (By our door). At half past 7 in the morning the windows are sprayed down so sleeping late was not an option either. For that price per night, I was very disappointed with the look of the room and its size as well as the above. For that amount one expects a little more than just a beautiful sea view.

It is a very homely atmosphere, and comfortable, you just feel at home. Our bedroom window was on the beach. Breathtaking view. Two steps out the front door and you are on the beach.

The location is absolutely wonderful - right on the beach and in walking distance to shops, cafes and bars. Host and other staff were very friendly and helpful.
We selected the beautiful accommodation at Sonskyn guest house purely for the location, but the overall experience more than matched the spectacular view! Christina is a charming hostess and both her and her staff make you feel right at home. Personal touches like a glass of sherry late afternoon, fresh milktart with tea, showing interest in the comings and goings of guests, to name but a few will make your stay at Sonksyn extra special. The establishment is very well kept and has an old-worldly charm with all modern amenities included, and made our recent visit to Cape Town incredibly special. We will gladly refer friends and family and would love to go back ourselves for a repeat visit!
The place is very neat and everyone is very friendly. They make a lot of effort to make the guests feel at home. Feels like you've known them for years. The large room on the ground has a beautiful view.
