Very friendly reception with a helpful hostess. A quiet atmosphere with a clean and tidy room. Breakfast was nice. Close to Tygervally centre, highway and surrounding areas.
We were a big group including Polish travellers. The self-catering house and apartments were perfect, including everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The team were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Polish group loved their stay. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Sontyger was one of the best places I've stayed at. The management is very friendly and helpful. Sontyger is a beautiful clean place with very nice rooms that are excellently clean. Very nice breakfast and it's great that there is a braai room there that can be used. Their accommodation is definitely value for money and we slept very well. The unit was clean, with cleaning services included. Would just like a wider selection of TV channels, but that's a personal preference. However, parking was a remote controlled gate and secure.

I had a lovely stay at Sontyger Gastehuis. The service was excellent and the breakfast delicious. My room and bathroom were very clean. Air-con in the room was good for the warmer days. There was safe parking and a lovely swimming pool. Definitely 10 out of 10.

It was a positive fantastic experience. The room was super clean and tidy and everything was in 100% working condition. We were received very kindly and the wonderful homely feeling of warmth and love was the best. To be able to stay in such a small oasis in the heart of Cape Town at very affordable rates and breakfast was fantastic and also that you are so centrally located to get to all the shopping centers without difficulty and quickly too. I will recommend you to everyone and will definitely visit again.

We live in Namibia, and it was our first time in the Cape. Very friendly reception and very helpful. Very safe place, neat and easy to find. Banks, eateries and shopping center are just walking distance from the guest house. There is secure parking for the cars. The place is central, close to all interesting places in the Cape.
We were kindly received and taken to our room. Als was fast and for me the safety of the vehicle was important. Had a wonderful overnight stay and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast before making our way back. It's definitely my only place to stay if I go to the Cape again.

My daughter stayed at Sontyger for a period of 5 weeks whilst attending a course.The accommodation was exceptional clean, well equipped and comfortable. The guest house is very well situated and was in walking distance to all amenities and to her college. We had a great time in Sontyger! We were kindly received and felt very much at home in our cozy and very neat spacious room. We slept soundly because our car was safely behind a locked gate. We also happily left our daughter alone on Saturday morning while my husband participated in a triathlon. The breakfast was tasty with a wide choice between cold and hot breakfasts. Our host and hostess were friendly and helpful at all times. We will definitely be staying in Sontyger again.
Sontyger Guesthouse is close to Tyger Valley Center which is a bonus, and the Spar is just across the street. We were also allowed to entertain our extra family in the braai area where there is also a small kitchen. Although the downside is that there was no casserole for the braai. Furthermore, we had a great time and vehicles were behind security gates.
I had a great stay at this place. I received a warm welcome, the room was spacious, clean and so addictive; I couldn't wait to go back while I was out. Great atmosphere, this is a great place to be.
Neat, clean. Hospitable people. Close to Tyger Valley and secure parking at guest house. Close to N1 and quick to get to the airport.
A house full of character with a cozy living room. The parking seems to be sufficient. Although guests are trusted with the "help-yourself-and-write-on-bar", it can cause potential problems if certain guests abuse it. Still, the Sontyger Guest House is highly recommended.
