Sophia's Cottage is definitely value for money accommodation for those who want to get away with a family, spouse or friends. There is plenty to do in both directions and no need to travel far for it. It is also very quiet and peaceful. Also very clean and tidy.

What an incredible gem of a place, we will definitely use it again, everything was available and the view is beautiful! The only annoyance was the manager of the estate, but that didn't take anything away from the Cottage itself, would really recommend it, we would definitely stay there again!

An amazing fully self-catered cottage, actually the best self-catering accommodation I've ever stayed in. There was nothing we needed to bring with, everything from kitchen equipment to towels were provided. It was a beautiful place and the views incredible. The host, Lientjie was divine and even though we didn't get to meet her she was available at all hours for any queries we had. Value for money, clean and comfy and easy access to shops, town and activities in the area.
Children could play on lawn, lots of space. Kitchen well equipped. Fridge was a bit small to store food in if you stay longer than 3 days. Safe and children could walk to pond to catch fish. Fast service if we asked for something that was not available in the kitchen.
From the hospitality of Lientjie and Wimpie to the tranquility of the surroundings, our stay was breathtaking. Nicely furnished, clean and tidy accommodation. We would highly recommend this accommodation and personally go there again. Thanks again for an unforgettable weekend!
Sophia's was a wonderful place to stay and the owners definitely made the effort to help us feel at home. Unfortunately, we only stayed one evening there for a wedding, so we could not enjoy much of our time there but I will go back anytime. Thank you very much.

Sophia's Cottage is one of the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed at. It was clean and nicely furnished. All necessities were there. Safety is important to me and the estate's security is extremely effective. The zebras and blesboks in the estate are wonderful for us city jays! Thank you Lientjie for your friendly reception. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is clean, cosy and nicely furnished. We invited outside guests for a braai on the Friday evening ,and Lientjie had no problem with us having people over - nothing is too much for her. She made us side dishes to serve along with the braai,and all the guests raved about it. The next morning she served a wonderful breakfast outside on the stoep which was amazing. I will most definitely stay there again, and also recommend it to all the people I know.
We had a wonderful stay. The wildlife roams the streets. In nature away from the busy White River but around the corner from the business parts. For sure the right place to rest.

I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else if we're in the lowlands. Great value for money, warm people who can't do enough to make you feel at home. Facilities are well maintained and the gardens are also very tidy. Air conditioning in the rooms - that works! Wildlife in the estate is a bonus! One can safely go for a walk and enjoy the outdoors. I didn't expect too much and the booking was made on the spur of the moment. The price for a family of 4 was really value for money. Was very very excited when I saw the place. It was really very beautiful and exceeded my expectation. The food was top notch. I can really recommend it.

We were 2 families with 1 gate tag. This caused great frustration. The cleaner was supposed to come in on Sunday, she didn't, but that's not the owner's fault. There is please a beater, mattress protectors, steak knives, a bread knife, ice trays. Oh yes, a lighter or matches. As well as washcloth. Bedding was clean and beautiful. Some of the light bulbs were broken, lighting in the living area too little. We would definitely stay there again despite the hiccups. Thank you.
