Lovely campsite. Reception should just maybe inform for sure about sneaky foxes who steal everything so that you store well at night. Cooler bag bitten, oats and ice cream bowl with leftover sausage.

Fantasy campsite! It's so convenient with your own bright bathroom. Neat pitch and nice pool to cool off in the desert. Beautiful with gemsbok and springbok in the campsite. Would definitely highly recommend!

Great campsite! You get your own personal kitchen, bathroom and designated area which is fantastic! The campsite also has a pool (communal). Would highly recommend. Note: the campsite is not in the Sossusvlei park so you need to wait until the park opens before you can enter - we did not know this and would have perhaps not booked outside the park.
The sites not facing the road are nice. They need to have a sign showing where to book in. You should not have to stand in a queue where people buying takeaways and paying for items bought in the shop is the same queue used to book in. Very confusing and frustrating. If you are doing a booking, don't have a conversation with your colleagues while I am waiting patiently for you to complete my booking. Your bathrooms need maintenance. Tap dripping water, ugly mark against the toilet bowl. Just do routine maintenance to your kitchen and bathrooms.
Good place to spend the night if you want to visit Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon. At least 2 nights if you drive long distances.
Best campsite in the Namib. Very friendly and helpful customer service. If you're looking for a little more privacy, book the "shared ablution campsite" number 15. Just be careful that the fox doesn't take your shoes away.
Quiet and private, your nearest neighbors are a few meters away. Our camp was clean, soil was raked nicely in a pattern. So the next morning we could see all the animals that visited us through the night's footprints. Awesome.
We really enjoyed our camp at Sossus Oasis Campsite. Was surprised at how close the pitches are to the road, but despite that it wasn't noisy and didn't take away from the breathtaking nature all around us. Just be warned, we had a few foxy visitors at night who enjoyed eggs, rolls and bacon on our bill, but no harm otherwise. Will definitely recommend the campsite to others. Staying in Sossus and visiting the park was a highlight of our tour of Namibia.
It's a shame the braai can't move. When we visited it was bitterly cold and it would be nice if you could move the braai around so you could avoid the wind. The alternative is to bring your own braai drum along. Heed the warning against the foxes and do not leave shoes or food outside at night.
Convenience of shop close to camp where you can get what you need.
We actually had a great time camping. A couple of comments - we couldn't use the WiFi as there was no indication of how to connect it. Everywhere along the wire near the road there was debris near the wire. From it, one could see it had been lying there for a long time, burning in the sun.
We as campers find it the ideal place to camp for our visit to Sossusvlei. Camp area clean and tidy and safe. Delicious hot water. Would recommend Sossus Oasis Campsite.

The facilities are clean, everything works. Had a lovely hot shower. Swimming pool clean and great fun in the hot summer. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The shower area and kitchen was a winner. Crows a problem but nice camping.
Amenities, campsite clean and tidy.
The setup is very nice, but we were there at a time when the wind was blowing very hard so we got very cold with the shower which is only closed with reeds, but the place in general is comfortable.

Very neat and tidy camp site, but needs some maintenance. The shower drain was blocked and water left to flow out over electric connections. Septic tank cover broken and had bad smell, pipes leaking in sink. Very minor things to repair. Still did not detract from a great stay. Shop was well stocked and staff very friendly and helpful.

I will recommend to others, as long as they enjoy loud music till late at night. I personally will not stay there again. I prefer the quiet that is normal at campsites.

Campsite well located. Ablution needs attention. Broken doors and toilets.
The surroundings are very beautiful, and there is a lot of wildlife that comes and roams in the area. It is conveniently located near a gas station and the main gate of Sossusvlei. Unfortunately, you don't have much shelter from the wind, which means that if there is a sandstorm, everything is full of sand and the wind is very strong at times, so make sure you have a decent tent.

Second time we come to Sesriem. We camped here for two nights. The campsite is very neat and comfortable with a power point for a kettle or stove. Nice hot water. Just do please something about the sewer smell, if the wind comes from the west please. Something like Pro Bac for septic tanks. Couldn't go in early towards Sossosvlei, it's outside the Sesriem camp and we had to wait for the gate to open at 7:30. Long queues of vehicles waiting there. The Engen garage is very handy with diesel, tires (yes, you lose a tire) and groceries on offer.
Best way to camp with the set up pitches. Shop is well equipped and helpful staff. Sorry pool is too cold.

We stayed 2 nights at the camp site, we really enjoyed our stay but the shop was ridiculously priced and we received very poor service from them. Make sure you buy all your goodies somewhere else ( even braai wood).

We arrived at Sossusvlei Oasis camp late in the afternoon after a long day on the road. The staff were friendly and helpful. The campsite was beautiful and tidy. It's a great treat to have your own bathroom at your campsite. The pool was a welcome relief after the heat in the desert. We rested very nicely before we traveled on.
