The view over the sea is fantastic, there were whales for the whole week, you can see them from the living room. You are walking distance from everything, tower is on the front porch. Full DStv, wi-fi, everything available in the kitchen, enough space. We will definitely stay there again. We would just like to have a security system for the home, when driving, or which can be set if one is sleeping.
This is accommodation that I can recommend to people at any time. Everything is of the highest quality - and nothing is missing. Beautifully clean with everything in its place. It was really a great joy to step into such a place. The garden is unspoiled as it should be in a coastal town, yet with flowers and shrubs that give great pleasure and attract birds. We had a great time - and everything works! Provision was even made for load shedding although we never really found ourselves needing candlelight. Thanks a lot guys - you are great!

Will book again at Soutbos anytime. Place was neat, Soutbos has everything you need. All that's missing is WiFi, but that doesn't put a damper on the time at Soutbos at all. Wish I could give a thousand stars for the view, every room has a view from the sea to the bathroom. Soutbos see me again. Our few days at Soutbos & Janfrederik Self-care were incredible. Self catering unit is beautiful and tidy with everything you need. We were walking distance from the sea and the view from the balcony was very beautiful. Struisbaai and Agulhas are the perfect place to come and relax and just be peaceful. Will definitely come again and also recommend.

Beautiful getaway house. Refreshing sea breeze at night with a beautiful view from the patio over the peaceful sea in the morning and lighthouse in the evening. My favourite was the birds that came to greet us on the patio in the mornings. My kids were crazy about the place!

I'm sure it's the best place to stay with the best location on L'Agulhas! There is plenty of parking, the view from Soutbos is unbeatable, there is space galore, the beds sleep wonderfully, the kitchen is fully equipped and the braai area is comfortably covered. The surrounding trees make you feel as if no one lives near you and the birds bring peace and joy with them. It's also a stone's throw from the tidal pool and National park with its lighthouse, shipwreck and most Southern Point in Africa. Art galleries and places to eat (also fish and chips) are nearby and you can really kick off your shoes. Do yourself a favor and book!
Janfrederik is a beautiful, neat unit. We are a family of 5 and had a great time there. However, the kitchen/living room is very small and the adjoining rooms can be inconvenient for larger groups who do not know each other well. The "dining room" is on the veranda, which cannot be used in the cold and wind. But the location, lovely, tidy interior and value for money really make up for the slight inconvenience.
Very nice view of the sea and the lighthouse and within walking distance of the southernmost point of Africa. Would definitely recommend Soutbos to anyone who wants to relax by the sea.

Janfrederik is very nice place i would go there anytime. The braai area is a little big and a little dark at night when you braai. But generally the place is amazing.
