We are situated within 100m of the gates to the Agulhas National Park, where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. Within a one-minute walk are restaurants and coffee shops, the sea, tidal pools and ancient fish traps.
The units are fully equipped with fresh white cotton linen and towels, televisions with satellite channels, safes, heaters, fans and free Wi-Fi. 4 units have a private patio with a fireplace, the 3 sleeper has a gas insert in the kitchen, and the studio has a weber, enabling you to enjoy the still L'Agulhas nights barbecuing or you can pop down to one of the local restaurants. Only the top-floor apartment has a sea view, as all the other units are on the ground floor.
Our guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast at the nearby coffee shop the next morning which opens at 08:30. We are proud of our reputation as extremely clean and affordable 3-star graded accommodation.

We stayed in the apartment on the second floor. The apartment was super clean and had everything one could need. Beautiful view of the sea and the lighthouse. We had an incredibly nice stay. Hostess went out of her way to move us to other unit, because we asked for separate beds with reservation, but hostess was not aware of request She however had no problem moving us to appropriate unit without extra charge. I have known and visited Cape Augulhas since 1955, but this was the first time we stayed at South Point B&B. It was definitely an excellent choice. The central location and one street block away from the sea are undoubted strengths. The cleanliness of the accommodation is of high quality. The staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend South Point to any vacationer or traveler.

The set of stairs up to the house is a bit dangerous - the individual steps are too narrow and one's feet tend to get caught.

The owner/manager Hillary was friendly and accommodating. More than helpful regarding some of my requests. My unit was newly renovated and very neat. Well equipped. Only problem was that my unit didn't block out light so I could sleep in.

Hilary really puts a lot of effort into the care and comfort of her clients. Of course, it is also very reassuring to know that she is just around the corner and ALWAYS available for enquiries. The units are beautifully clean, the kitchenette well equipped and everything is well maintained. Our stay was truly very pleasant and we really couldn't find fault with one little thing. The room is very small no space for bags and suitcases. Wouldn't want to stay here longer than one night. Fully-equipped kitchen, nice secluded braai. Misleading advertisement and photographs create the false impression that there is a sea view. Short walk to the beach. Eateries are walking distance.

Quite expensive for what you get, especially off season. Bedrooms small but unit adequate. Vehicle is parked in the street and there are no burglar bars on the windows. It may be safer in the countryside, but if you come from the city it is difficult to sleep with open windows without burglar bars. If costs can be cut by 15-20% it will be better value for money. Our unit had an indoor braai that we lit as a fireplace. Nice cozy time in the kitchen / braai room. Living area was comfortable but didn't spend much time there.
My daughter and I were only here for 2 nights but we were amazed at all there is to do. The self-catering apartment was spotless and secure and we were met by Hillary who is so friendly and accommodating. South Point is ideally situated and everything you need is within walking distance. The lighthouse, where the 2 oceans meet and the shipwreck. Restaurant, takeaways, coffee shop/gift shop and not to mention laundrette on the premises. All I can say is WOW we really enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend this (actually already have) to everyone and I would really do it again. Thank you Hillary for a wonderful stay.

Accommodation was what we were looking for. It was reasonably priced, comfortable and very clean. The bedroom could have been more spacious. The kitchen facilities were good. The location w.r.t. the rest of the town was very central and close to everything such as restaurants, shops, etc. The owner, Hillary, was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a very pleasant 4-day stay in a well furnished and equipped apartment, comfortable for two people. Hilary was always available to answer questions and give advice on where to eat and what to see in the region. Well positioned 100 meters from the lighthouse, on the main road so easy to find, but no traffic so quite calm. Well worth the money, and a pleasant place to stay. The only negative point is that the apartment is rather small.
Very safe, clean, well situated and value for money accommodation. Will recommend to friends and family and will make use of establishment again in future.
