The ladies were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. It was just a bit on the expensive side.
Lizette and her team went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. I cannot praise their helpfulness and professionalism enough.
Southey House is a very comfortable, clean, luxurious bed and breakfast. The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast is very good.

My daughter and I were received in a friendly and helpful manner. The rooms are very luxurious, neat and spotless with everything you need and more than enough good quality coffee! The view is lovely and the house is located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The breakfast was absolutely heavenly, definitely one of the best I've ever had. Thank you so much Lizette, your kindness and good service was wonderful. We will definitely visit again.
Sincerest gratitude to the lady at reception, who displayed absolute professionalism, respect, courtesy and helpfulness. She did everything she could to satisfy our every need. The team including management at Southey House was excellent. I willingly recommend Southey House to future clients.
The guest house is beautiful and the rooms are very neat and clean. The view is exceptional. The staff are friendly and happy to assist with any query and request. The breakfast is also delicious. We had a very nice stay. Thank you also to Lizette for all her effort. Definitely worth the effort and money. We will certainly stay there again.
It's a beautiful clean house with character in which you can really relax. Beds and bedding are fantastic. We stayed in the Karoo room which has an incredibly beautiful view. The house also has a wonderfully large porch with a very nice view below. Lisa is very friendly and accommodating and we had a great stay. Will definitely stay there again if we have to go to Durban. We were in Durban for a hockey tournament and it is very well located near DSG Kloof where the games took place.
