Spandau Manor exceeded our expectations. The garden and pool are beautiful, and we were able to have a nice barbecue. The unit was clean and had everything one would need and more. It is private at the back of the main house. We will definitely book again when we are in Graaf Reinette. Stan's service is excellent.

Very neat and well furnished. We were received very kindly and everything was explained to us. The availability of power and water during load shedding is a bonus. The reference to a restaurant was excellent.
Honeymoon sleepover, everything was perfect and more.
Stan is a friendly and caring host. The unit is spacious and comfortable and the porch opens onto a beautiful garden. The pool looked very tempting, but unfortunately we only stayed one night and didn't have time for it then. Next time.

A no frills and safe place to sleep. Pleasant host. Since it is self-catering, however, more room can be made to prepare something light to eat. Place is clean and tidy.
The unit is beautiful, clean and tidy and well equipped and we had a great rest. It has a separate entrance and a deck overlooking the pool. It was lovely to relax there at the end of the day. Thank you very much for your hospitality and good advice Stan! We would love to stay there again.

Friendly reception from Stan. Clean, big, beautifully decorated modern room with everything you need for a good night's rest after a long and stressful day on the road. Very safe with security gates and safe parking inside. Nice, clean swimming pool. We could also use the jacuzzi because we made arrangements beforehand. I would definitely recommend Spandau Manor for anyone.
Our host Stan was very friendly and explained everything to us nicely. The unit itself is very neat and clean. Parking very safe, but just a little tight.
Host/wife on site and available for inquiries and requests. Pool a bonus. The friendly owners make an effort to overcome Graaff-Reinet's notorious water problems and make the accommodation without water problems. They also make special arrangements for guests' safety. The location is close to schools and is likely to provide practical accommodation for parents and visitors to schools. Be assured of a peaceful, comfortable stay.
Good service and people are very friendly, but it's a bit private for me as the unit is separated from the owner's with only a door. We had a long journey and found it difficult to sleep early as the people in the house could be heard. Pictures are misleading, looks like you have access to porch that overlooks the street, but it was not accessible.

So sorry about the water crisis in the town. But our accommodation was good and we were well rested for the next day's long journey.
I wanted to use the pool, but it was closed for the winter. However, the owner opened it and I was able to relax in the sun and swim a few lengths.
They can just put up water tanks and connect them to the house, so that the advertised Jacuzzi can be used, which we feel we paid for.
Super clean and neat. The air conditioning was a life saver! My only recommendation would be to remove the swimming pool and Jacuzzi from the advertisement when droughts prohibit their use.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything is clean and very tidy. Bed with good mattress. Thank you also for your hospitality and the barbecue tools and cutlery that were provided so that we could barbecue outside and relax.

Wat 'n lekker plekkie! As daar 'n mens nodig is, is daar daar. Dis skoon en netjies en die 'persoonlike aanraking' van sjerrie, sjokolades en beskuit is so bedagsaam. Spandau Manor is loopafstand van die strand van en die see is sigbaar vanaf die sitkamer. Ons sal beslis weer kuier hier!
